"Outstanding! Very good at helping me understand the foundation problems and scope of the job. Gave me a detailed bid that was in plain English so that I could understand and ask questions. The work was begun and done in the time frame stated and finished on time. The best bid for price (and I did seek other bids), and also a 20 year warranty. My husband, who understands these kinds of projects but was out of town, became available after the project was about half done and was very pleased with the work. Thus, having undertaken this necessary project myself, it turn out that I picked the best of the best to carry it out despite my lack of experience which was made up for by the Renew Basement Foundation professionals' education that they provided as I searched for a reliable contractor. Absolute integrity in every respect. From my stand point as a novice home foundation repair customer I felt confident, and from my husband's stand point where he did understand the scope of the project, all work was flawless. I absolutely recommend Renew and if I would ever need such service again, they are the only people I would consider. Also important to note, Renew noticed other problems that I had not identified, and they helped me to solve, such as a problem with the chimney. They knew someone who could fix it and did not charge extra for that work. It was as though they were looking after my best interest without my asking or in this case without my realizing the need. Again, when my husband arrived after the work was underway, he was completely impressed with the great care and attention to detail since he was aware of the chimney problem (although I wasn't). I don't think you will find a better contractor anywhere."

"It went very well. They came for two different quotes due to a issue with the village. They helped me with the process since I had never been through a concrete job. They arrived early, and stayed late ensuring the job was done to my satisfaction. I cannot believe how good it looks. I hung out the the crew most of the day since I was curious how it all worked. "ErieHome waterproofed my basement. The crew was polite, kind, and came in, did an excellent job in 3 days by digging a trench on the inside of the basement, removing the dirt from the bottom of the foundation, installed corrugated tubing, rock and then cement. They also installed a Humidex airpurifier and new sump pump with a backup pump. They cleaned up afterward. Any questions I had were answered in a respectful manor. I now have peace of mind knowing that I no longer have to monitor weather forecasts for rain or have to clean up anymore incoming water. The system is warranted for the life of the house and included within the price, which increased the value of my home."

"Generally well overall. Unfortunately, the weather (early spring) put off the date for the final paving over the outside drain tile. There was also an area along the basement wall for which they didn't install the seepage material (no explanation why). The team broke one basement window, reported to the manager that I had approved replacing ALL the windows with glass block ($200 each for 5 windows). I explained that I had not spoken with them at all, and I'd be willing to replace the ONE broken window. They replaced two. At no extra charge to me. I felt as though it was my responsibility to nag (when will you be able to finish? what's going on with the outdoor work?), when that should be the priority of the business... keeping me informed about what's going on. Finally, when moving appliances, they destroyed my washing machine (cracked a cement part so it couldn't be repaired). I wasn't aware this had occurred until after the fact. I complained but have had no response. Despite the carelessness and unresponsiveness, that basement is dry as a bone. Can't complain on that note. I marked that I would hire again... slightly unsure about that. I'd like to think there's a perfect company out there that would contact me up-front about when work stops or will continue, or when they break something. Otherwise, the foundation work + sump pump install was superb."

Another year has passed and even with all the melting snow and rain that we have had, we still have not had any leaks or problems with the repair of the foundation or any other place in the basement. "Rob Bergman was very responsive and very thorough in his analysis. He inspected the areas of concern related to our seepage and his area of expertise. After finding that the grading around the foundation was likely not the problem, he looked at other possible areas of concern and suggested other options. We are taking his advice and calling other contractors. If we were to need any of his services that he could provide in the future, we would definitely give Mastorwork at call."
