"J&R Chavez Landscaping, LLC did an incredible job repairing the grouting and sealing a large natural flagstone patio at our home. It was in very poor condition and when his team left it looked better than new! His team was also able to repair and rebuild the interior supports under the floor of the patio. The workmen were excellent, came on time and worked over three days 8-5 every day. They were courteous and highly skilled in stone work. The price was very reasonable as well."

"Great service. Eddie Cox come out on a Monday and told me what the worker would do. The worker came out on Wednesday on time both days and did and amazing job. The worker clean up all concrete you would never know they were there.I live in LaPlata had to get permission to widen the end of my driveway. You would never know that that they touch my driveway it look beautiful. I call several concrete companies in Charles county and these company were rude and took week to call me back. One companies I call still waiting for a call back. But thank to 7th State Builders, LLC I got the job done and excellent job. Due to a stroke I had the driveway widen to give me more freedom. "Wanted to take a long overdue moment to sing the praises of A Plus Exteriors LLC. Jairo and his team did a Top Notch job on my front paver parking pad, additional side walkway, and add-on pavers behind my house. They were prompt, professional, timely, extremely friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable! Neighbors stopped by to notice the work they did, and they even fulfilled a side project (small tree removal) request for one of my neighbors without impacting the timeline on my yard project. All of this, and at a fair price, too! Meant to post this last month when they first finished, but glad to say it now. The tree service was excellent, however the landscaping had numerous deficiencies. 

To start,  the office manager rescheduled me two times and did not call to notify me.  I actually lost a day at work due to them assuring me they would be there and after I called to find out where they were, they advised me that they were finishing up another job.

Landscaping work was OK, except for the window boxes built in the front of the house were not constructed the same and the front landscaping was very sloppy work.  Mulching in the back of the house was put down sparingly, as I already have weed block showing.

"Jack McFee and his company is the best! He gave me a very fair price and his crew are artists! They laid a beautiful driveway, patio and slab for my trash cans. The driveway is a work of art. They expanded it to double the size and replaced cracked sidewalk and the apron. The patio is also larger so now we can put out a dining set and enjoy our parties. Not only did they do great work, they also cleaned up everything and replaced the grass at the end of the driveway where they dug out! I truly recommend them to everyone wanting new concrete at their house. You just wonâ t go wrong with Mid-Atlantic!"

I called another company that charged $200 for an estimate.  They gave me a written estimate with pictures, and told me that smoke was leaking from one flu to the next because of cracked flu tiles.  They recommended two stainless steel flu liners, replacing the crown, replacing the four bad bricks, and sealing the outside of the chimney at a cost of $13000.  That wasn't going to happen.  I sent the pictures to another chimney repair company and they would do the same work for $6000. What an eye opener!  How could there be such a disparity?  That's when I called Metropolitan Chimney.  Adolfo looked at the chimney and saw that the cracked flu tiles were near the top of the chimney and could be replaced without needing to reline the flues.  Aldofo was the only person to diagnose the leaking problem. He said, " the two flues were so close together at the top of the chimney. Smoke from one fireplace rose out of the chimney and was sucked down into the adjacent flu,  The smoke came into the house through the other fireplace." The problem was solved with the installation of chimney cap dampers on each flu. I have had a fire in both fireplaces, and smoke has not leaked back into the house.  Aldofo and his coworker were honest, did the work that week, left the house clean, and saved me a lot of money.  It is important to note that the flu liners recommended by the other companies would not have solved the problem of smoke leaking back  into the house. Only Adolfo understood the physical phenomenon of negative pressure as it applied to my fireplaces.
