"I used Freddie a few years ago for a patio. And his work is excellent. He wonâ t sell you on things that wonâ t work or look good just to make a buck. If you give him you vision, he will create the most affordable and long lasting option. I called him to add new stairs and transition them into the patio he did. He met me at the Mason supply house and walked me through all the options explaining the pros and cons. He was able to add the new stairs and match all the colors so itâ s look seem less. I couldnâ t be happier with the end product."

"John and his crew installed a 300 ft + driveway and turn around area for us in October of 2020. He and his guys did an outstanding job. Some of the prep was completed prior by another contractor 3 years before. John quickly assessed the drainage issues perfectly. We are situated on a hill and we have not had a significant puddle in our driveway yet. He widened our driveway quite a bit and raised the end of our driveway to prevent the waterfall we had before. Someone drove over it on to our lawn and made a mess getting out - his paving and border held perfectly. I am convinced you will be happy with his work. "Mike and his team are true professionals and is THE TEAM you want doing your project. Mike came to our house on a Sunday (yes, a Sunday) to discuss and perform a walk-thru on our project. Everything felt right- the conversation, the design, just everything. Mike knew exactly what pavers I wanted- he didn't even need to open the Cambridge catalog (but did anyway to make sure we were on the same page). It was like he read my mind. There was also constant communication and quick response too! The day arrives and I am so incredibly excited. The guys showed up and got right to work. By mid-afternoon, the installation was complete and they were cleaning up. It was incredible! This company and everyone that works there are honest, hardworking people that take pride in their work and treat you like you're family. I am very hesitant when it comes to hiring people to do work at my house as I've had a lot of bad luck in the past but Home Improvement and Design have proven to me that good people and companies still exist and I couldn't be happier with my entire experience with them from beginning to end. I will absolutely hire them again and you should too. You won't be disappointed."

"I hired them to repair the old retaining wall; however technician Dave found that the wall was not built properly. It was probably the original wall built decades ago or was rebuilt thirty years ago. He immediately reported the issue to his manager Sam who came right away to evaluate the situation. Sam determined that the entire wall needed to be rebuilt in order to secure the entire wall . We got a new quote and the project was continued. Due to the pandemic, the Cambridge block manufacturer was not able to provide enough inventory for the market. We came short of blocks while before the Labor Day weekend. Dave spent the entire holiday weekend to shop for the blocks in the state. They quickly resumed the work after they found supplier that was one and half hours away from my house. After the completion of the work, they cleaned up my backyard and even washed my driveway. We do appreciate that Dave gave up his long weekend for our project. His willingness to walk extra steps for customer should be praised."
