"We began the process with SunPower when a representative knocked on the door and asked if we were interested in exploring solar power. After this we were put in touch with Arvin, who guided us through the entire process and was thorough, transparent, helpful, and responsive. First, Arvin met with us in our home for over an hour exploring all the details of various options including PPA (power purchase agreements) and financing. After we expressed initial interest during this meeting, SunPower sent a site inspector to our home to analyze our readiness for a solar panel installation. After this, we stayed in touch with Arvin while exploring the details of our home’s solar power system. Initially, we were hesitant about the idea of a PPA since we wouldn’t own the panels that were on our roof. Once Arvin explained the details of how the PPA works, including provisions for if we do construction on our roof or move to a new home, we became much more comfortable. We ended up choosing to go with a PPA because we liked the idea of paying only for the power being produced, rather than for the equipment itself. The proposed system of solar panels was projected to cover 90% of our home’s monthly energy needs."

He was not only extremely responsive whether via text, e-mail, or phone call, but he was early to every appointment, which I appreciate! Even when the city made things challenging when he went to file the permit (they wouldn't allow us to install the Level 2 chargers outside), that was not a problem for Fernando at all and he adjusted the plans he'd drawn for us and honored his original quote. He got the work done in a very timely manner and I am so impressed with the job he did. He also scheduled the inspection with the city for the following week. I would highly recommend Fernando!!"

"This is a follow up to my 2016 review for August Roofing. The roof to our 12 unit condo complex was redone in 2016 by August, which installed a new silicone roof coating. Since then, we've had a few leak issues or where the coating peeled away, but August was always responsive. In particular, Javier Carillo was our contact person and was always very professional, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and really tried to address our problems, even when he and I figured out that one of our leaks was due to a faulty air conditioning installation, not a roofing issue."
