"Carlos did a good job on the many projects we had done. He did a floating deck, landscaping and a basement remodel. All work was done professionally and the outcome was very good. We will be having him do a privacy fence next. Highly recommend his services!!"

"The job was a bit expensive, but it's not a small house, though a neighbor is getting their house done by someone else for $1000 less. The house and trim look good, until you get really close. House color on trim edges that should be a different color. All over spray wasn't cleaned up well, no masking was done. Lots of paint on the driveway, in the grass and on the upper deck. Areas in the yard where brushes and equipment were cleaned, or where paint was spilled are now dead, I will have to reseed those areas when it gets cooler. For the most part we are satisfied, but attention to detail was lacking."

"Called and had appointment for estimate within a couple of days.  Owner came out, talked to me, did a viewing of all the rooms.  I had picked out the colors I wanted already.  He gave me an estimate, which did not include materials.  I purchased the paint.  Work was started within a week.  Had one painter who came out for five days.  He worked from about 8:30 to 3:00 or 4:00 everyday.  Only t00k a break at lunch and a few minutes in the morning and afternoon.  Was very professional.  Took all hanging decorations off the wall and replaced.  Also vacuumed carpet after painting rooms with carpet.  Swept rooms with wood floor.  Very pleased and would use again.  Price may be a little high in my opinion, but I believe I got my money's worth <br />"

"I was pleased with the job they did. It took a little longer than expected, but the guy doing it was trying hard to make sure he did a good job. Chuck came out several times throughout the job to inspect, and even had them rip a few things back off and redo them. He also brought in a window wrap guy to help with that part since the main carpenter was a little inexperienced with it. They did a great job cleaning up around my house after as well."

FAQs for handyman service projects in Burlingame, KS

Winterizing shields your home’s structure and key systems from snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. By sealing drafts and tuning up heaters, you cut energy waste, extend the life of appliances and windows, and avoid surprise repair bills. A small up-front investment keeps rooms cozy and protects the value of your biggest asset all winter long.

Yes, it’s important to prepare your sprinkler system for the winter. Blowing out the lines and insulating above-ground parts keeps valves and pipes from splitting when temperatures drop. A quick winterization visit costs far less than repairing burst components in spring, and it ensures your lawn--and your wallet--stay in good shape once the thaw hits.

A full home winterization plan goes beyond sealing windows and pipes. You might schedule a home energy audit, cover outdoor furniture, service the snowblower, swap smoke-detector batteries, add outlet gaskets, and hang storm doors. Each step beefs up your home’s protection, cuts drafts, and lowers the chance of costly cold-weather damage.
