"Garden State Roofing and Chimney replaced the main roof on my house as well as the "flat roofs" (porch and bay window roofs). They did a great job both times. "We discovered rotted fascia and some areas of our roof that needed attention and set about getting estimates. We received 3 estimates and VERY different opinions on our roof. One company wanted to replace the whole roof, another said we could either repair a few things or replace. Jeff at Cwanger was confident that our 15 year old roof did not need replacement yet. While Cwanger's estimate was slightly higher than one of the other 2 estimates for repairs we went with them because of their knowledge and attention to detail. Jeff also noticed a few things we had been questioning but not sure of on a brand new section of roofing. Hip shingles should have been used but were not, Jeff felt this was a fault that could cause problems down the road. Overall our job consisted or removing our gutters, replacing all the fascia behind the gutters, rewrapping fascia with aluminum capping, replacing the gutters (which they also cleaned), placing flashing between the garage and main roofline and reshingling those areas and replacing standard shingles with hip shingles on a small addition. Cwanger was quite busy and we did need to wait a couple of weeks but our job was not an emergency as we had no current leaks. Cwanger was exactly on the mark when they gave us an estimated start date. The crew was fast and thorough. They left the driveway and surrounding house as clean as before they arrived. When Jeff returned for a final inspection we noticed 2 items that we thought needed some additional attention (ripped shingle and gutter not hung properly) and Jeff himself pointed out something he wanted fixed (additional hip shingle needed). He sent his guys back to our house the next day to complete the minor fixes. Overall I cannot imagine a better experience with a contractor - great communication, excellent work and a reasonable price. We would recommend Jeff and Cwanger roofing to anyone looking for roof services.

"We had a contractor come and build a screened in porch with a flat roof. The contractor was awful and unable to get the roof correct it leaked every time it rained! We received a couple of quotes From different companies but Rafael came from AMJ and gave us a very fair quote. I felt very comfortable with his knowledge Of the repairs needed to get the roof correct. AMJ took their time on the job to be sure the roof would never leak again. They also noticed something on the existing roof that needed a little repair and they threw that in as well. The first time it rained after getting the roof done I knew that our nightmare was over! It has been a few months with no incident we are so happy with the job they did. The guys were so professional. They didn t rush the job they cleaned up every bit of debris. I will definitely use them in the future to do my whole roof."

"I hired this company to replace my roof dumpster was delivered one day before they started the job. Very hard-working guys, they remove all shingles on a 20 square roof within 2h. unfortunately the plywood was bad and need it to be replaced these guys did something that no company would do it they removed all plywood did framing repair installed 5/8 plywood and charged me only for the cost of plywood. I give them 5 stars for the job that they did and i will never deal with any other company besides HomeMaster."
