"Tom was doing work down the street when I first introduced myself to him. He was doing stucco repair work, waterproofing, and painting. Everyone in the neighborhood was talking about what a great job he was doing, and the homeowner was raving about him as well. We have a 30-year-old 4-sided stucco house and were 1) concerned about potential water damage and 2) in need of minor repairs and touch-ups. "He was prompt, professional and very courteous. We have a newborn, so dealing with a leak was not something I could handle right now. I don't have a ton of experience with chimney repair so the price seemed on the high end of reasonable, but he was responsive on the first day and came to do the repair as soon as weather permitted. Most companies did not return my calls. One did respond but never showed up to start work. The JA Drywall owner came to our initial appointment on time, evaluated the job and gave us a reasonable and fair estimate. The work crew then came on time and worked really hard for two days to repair the chimney. At each stage they kept us informed of progress. "Pat and his team were, by and large, fantastic. They executed on all aspects of the original quote flawlessly. The ribbon pointing around the stonework, especially in the front part of the house, turned out very nice. We're extremely happy with how the masonry looks. It went so smoothly, we added additional work onto the quote to seal the concrete and touch up paint along the exterior of the house. The painting wasn't as neat or clean as it could have been - it's probably a little step above what I could have done. Mostly importantly, when we encountered a couple of problems along the way, they were responsive and went above and beyond to sort it out. I think they approached the whole project very well, and even worked with us on the price for the add-ons. All-in-all, super solid work from a super solid contractor. Highly recommended."
