Where to even begin!  I hired another contractor to replace 17 windows and a sliding door.  That contractor abandoned the job after partially installing 7 windows.  I was in a panic!  My house was torn apart, I had windows stacked on my patio, my spouse was not amused and I was turned down by numerous window/door companies.  Then Supreme Window and Door came to my rescue.  They came the day I called to take stock of the situation and while this is something they do not normally do, they agreed to complete the entire job correctly. 

Many thanks to Albert Hoffman of Supreme for his sincere interest in correcting all the problems and his efforts expediting the process.  Albert was in constant contact with the workmen all throughout the process and  kept tabs on issues and progress.

The next morning Eric (sorry, I never did learn his last name) and his helper appeared at my home ready to work.  They looked at the unfinished work, re-measured all the windows and found that every last window the previous contractor purchased was the wrong size, in some instances more than 3" larger than the openings which made a simple job a now more serious situation.  The options amounted to either tearing the window opening down to the studs and reframe or purchase another 17 windows.  Eric and Albert consulted each other and  to save me money the best approach would be to reframe the window openings.  Can you believe it?  More work for them and it saved me a lot of money!  When Eric told me not to worry that it was now their problem not mine, I couldn't believe that standing in my hallway was a young man truly interested in getting the job done and done correctly.  His demeanor, professionalism, and work ethic reflects very well indeed on Supreme.

So now I am sitting in my kitchen, admiring my new windows.  The job took a little longer than they originally expected and I hope helping me in time of need did not ruin any preexisting schedules.  Since completion, Albert and someone named Chris have called me to make sure that I am indeed happy and believe me I AM!

If I had another house that needed windows or doors I wouldn't bother calling anyone else, I already know what company is the best.  In fact I have already recommended them to 2 friends in need of doors and windows.

"Dan Millard and his crew were wonderful to work with in the updating our mid 80?s kitchen.  Dan was very responsive to our ideas and quickly got proposals together for our review.  And he worked with us to find the right balance of value and cost for the remodel.  We fortunately already had good quality Cherry cabinets so the job focused on the update of our flooring, new counter tops and the replacement of aging appliances.  The work was scheduled quickly without much wait time. The AKC construction crew (Cameron and Josh) were hard working and skilled craftsman who produced a beautiful look to our remodel job.  Some examples:  They figured out how to get the slightly oversized refrigerator to fit into our tight cabinet cut out; the flooring was laid in a beautiful visual pattern using the variations in the tiles perfectly and the granite tops we selected were seamed almost invisibly.  In addition slight glitches were cheerfully remedied quickly.  They even came back after all the bills were paid to adjust a problem with the installation of the of the dishwasher door.  
 
We would recommend them highly and would work with AKC again.
