"The approximate cost was $1300. The guys were nice. But the paint job isn't holding up that well. From the wall were my alarm is when the wall gets touch the paint is coming off. I don't think they did do a primer. It's not holding up I can see were it needs to be touched up in hallway and the laundry room where they painted and same in the kitchen. They were kind of in a hurry so they didn't spend time on prep. That's the kind of comment I will make to future customer. It looks good but they don't do a lot of prep. There were areas that have to be touched up.  It's not even a full year yet. They kind of want to get in and out.  Initially he came in with a price. He verbally gave me quotes for each room and because I am a female. He went outside to his truck to come back with the final bill and it was 3 times than what he said for each room. I say to him I guess I have to give you a not so great review on Angie's List because the quote and the integrity of all that is part of why I use Angie's List. When I said that he called me back and said oh I'm so sorry I don't know what I was thinking. That wasn't the quote I wanted to give you. I am like oh my god if I hadn't said that this guy will be taking me to the cleaners. They were on time. They were professional."

"My mother and I condo-converted our 3 flat Edwardian building and decided to sell the rental unit so she could move to an assisted living situation. To get the rental ready for sale we refinished the hardwood floors, added central heat and put a washer and dryer in the unit. I'd already updated the kitchen and bath. Chong Pak's crew at Golden hill Painting did such a beautiful job painting all of the wood moldings and plaster walls, I decided to use him for the exterior which was due to be painted as well. Several people remarked on the beautiful paint job and asked who I used. The crew was so polite and friendly, no radios blasting, and they were flexible enough to work around the other subcontractors in a tight schedule to get the job done in time for the open house. Even when I chose a wrong color for the ceilings, Chong never batted and eyelash, he repainted and still got the job done in time. It was such a pleasure working with Chong and this company that I also asked them to paint the other two units and even the basement. In the 24 years we've owned this building, this is the best quality paint job and highest degree of professionalism I've had. Very reasonable for the high quality work.
