June 2019, Stegman Roofing tore off two layers of roofing and replaced about 5 sheets of plywood sheeting and then laid down an ice and water shield and then tiger paw underlay and then "lifetime" true definition shingles. It looks great. Then, late spring, 2019, rain, lots of rain; still no leaks. Then, December 2019, came a snow storm that laid down more snow than any single storm has in the 25 years we've lived here--18". The snow stayed on the roof for over a week; still no leaks. His workers installed our new roof with such care they said is the same care they would give to their own grandmothers' roofs. How sweet and comforting that was to hear, and, after getting to know the workers, I believe they were sincere, truly sincere. NO LEAKS WHAT SO EVER! Now I should be happy with this new roof for the rest of my "lifetime.""
