"The backyard was not finished. When I called the following day Mike argued with me about it. Instead of politely asking me to send pictures or politely offering to come back he annoyingly offered to come back and check as if I was not being honest. When the workers arrived they did not know they were also working on the backyard, so poor communication within the company."

"We never have been so pleased. The attention given to our poison ivy problem and other invasive plants was truly amazing. They dug up our irises, uprooted the poison ivy and then replanted the irises. They wiggled their way into our 60+ year old azalea to remove the poison ivy as well as other invasive plants. Highly recommend Umar and his team."

"GTM was amazing to work with. GTM worked on a large project recreating our home's front steps and walkway. George and his entire staff were professional, diligent and a true pleasure to work with. They worked diligently and expeditiously. George was very responsive and communicated well as the project evolved. He always made sure everything was done to perfection. We would highly recommend using GTM for any hardscaping or landscaping projects."

"update as of 6/1/2019: The waterproofing contractor via phone and a letter to express his apologizes for not following up on my issues from the install. He came out immediately to assess the situation and within a week sent a crew out to make the necessary repairs. I believe they went above and beyond in fixing all areas of the waterproofing system that may have caused the failure and flooding. Despite the very delayed response (almost a year later). Paul Salvo Jr. did stand behind his work and make it right. Given my interaction with him, I believe the lack of follow up was an anomaly and I would at this time be comfortable recommending him for service. I purchased my home in July of 2018 from a general contractor who performed a complete rehab of the entire home. As part of the project, Paul Salvo Jr was hired to complete the basement waterproofing. The very day we moved in, there was a heavy rain and the "system" failed as we had water in multiple areas throughout the basement. I contacted the seller and he provided me with Paul Salvo Jr's cell number. I spoke with Paul and he recalled the install and asked that I send him my address and he would schedule a time to come out and assess. That was the last I spoke with him, after multiple texts and phone calls it appears, contrary to what he states on his website, they do not "believe in the time honored tradition of standing behind their work". I much prefer to write positive reviews, however it is also important to share my experience. If you are looking for a waterproofing contractor and you come across Paul Salvo Jr, I suggest you keep looking as assurance of a dry basement is too important to not have someone who is committed to the work they perform. I will also provide an update with pictures."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Camden, NJ

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
