I am very pleased with the job Geno did. It took him & his crew about 4 hours to do the job & did an excellent clean up job when they left. I have had no clogged gutters & the wind blows off the leaves. I had 3 estimates for the job. His reviews were excellent & I felt his gutter guard was very good & he came in with the lowest bid. "Anthony Daly did an exceptional job! My home looks amazing. His crew is very hard working and would always stop and take the time to answer questions. Anthony was very responsive and when capping and siding was removed and odd previous construction was uncovered he would be back at my home working with his crew and would bring other contractors to make sure the issue was fixed and everything was applied correctly. The siding company I hired over promised so I could not longer use them. Anthony was very flexible to expand the project to also stucco my garage and family room-addition. After a hard rain, I discovered that one of the leaks was not fixed. He came back to home with another contractor and with the hose in hand found the leak in the brick (not his stucco) and they fixed it. Very responsive, professional and dependable. Everyone comments on how great my home looks. I highly recommend him."

Several contractors came out and either felt that the job was too involved time-wise for them or started proposing numbers that were way beyond what we could afford. And then we met Sam from Progressive Renovations. He was affable and encouraging. The job was certainly doable he assured us, but conceded that there might be unexpected work due to the fact that the house was built in 1896. We anticipated this since weà  à ¢à  à  à  à  ve been living here for 47 years. He was very reassuring about any additional costs and when we did, in fact run into several serious foundation issues, Sam and his brother Mel told us we could work everything out at a minimal additional cost. And they were not only true to their word but Sam completed a number of à  à ¢à  à  à  à  extrasà  à ¢à  à  à  à  to make the final result even more satisfying than we expected, Sam and his crack team of masons, carpenters, and painters were frustrated by many no-work rainy days we experienced, but they more than made up for lost days by working full days even on Saturdays. In fact they worked on two different Sundays all day. We certainly would call on them for future jobs. We recommend Progressive without reservations. "When we first met with Lew Merryfield, our home was a disaster.  Smoke and intense heat had made it necessary to completely gut and restore our home.  It was a time of great despair and confusion.  Lew was very reassuring that his company would be able to handle to assignment and allow us to return to a home that was better than ever, and agreed to bid the job in the format requested.
After the contract was signed the Merryfield Construction Group was very active, and progress was made every week.  We opted to hire our own subcontractors for plumbing and HVAC, and an electrical contractor recommended by the provider.  The provider and their staff worked well with the other contractors and were communicative with us during the process.  A promise to never abandon working on our home for any significant period of time was kept.  Building options and recommendations were presented at appropriate times and were appreciated.  Lew and his brother George worked with us to solve problems that arose and we always felt like it was a partnership and that they took great pride in their work.  Additional work outside the original contract and work change orders were appropriate and reasonably priced.
The fire was one week before Christmas in 2013, and we were able to move back in late October 2014.  Although this time frame was slightly outside of the original estimate, it was not considered unreasonable given the nature of the work and the change orders. After we moved in, the provider has done a nice job on following up any problem areas and punch list items.
We are very happy with our "new" home and are confident that the provider will continue to stand behind the work.  The overall job turned out much better than we could have expected.  Lew and George Merryfield, and their staff, particularly Tom Ferry, Sean, and Scott, were always respectful and friendly, and took obvious pride in their crafts.  In conclusion, we are glad we selected Merryfield Construction Group and would not hesitate to use them again in the future or recommend them to others."

"We had Brian replace our entire roof, including ripping two layers. Brian is always very professional and knowledgeable and the quality of his work is excellent. The job was delayed due to weather and schedule run overs in jobs before ours, but Hope provided us with regular status updates so we knew when to expect them. We used Genovese in the past for repairs and were very happy with the roof replacement.

"     He was pleasant and thoroughly professional.  He called before he arrived to tell us he was in transit.  He asked thoughtful questions to diminish his impact on working in our house while we were there.  He took off his shoes when he worked inside and wore an interior sock shoe. He spread down a thick towel whenever he put window or screen panels on the floor.
     Even tho it rained  hard all day, he did not cancel.  He did 3/4ths of the work from inside. ( the inside of the window, both sides of the storm panels and the screen)  The next day he came back to do the exterior of the windows that had to be reached from the outside and by ladder.
     When he finished all glass surfaces were sparkling clean and streak free.    The screens were freed of years of grime and returned to their aluminum color. My windows look brand new in this 88 year old house.
     My husband and I are feeling pleased with the renewed light flowing from our clean windows.   I am very glad I found him on Angie's List.  I will use him again.!!!

"Miguel Amaya did work on my neighbors driveway and so we inquired about doing a patio in our yard. Miguel came over gave a quote and completion time-line. He was friendly professional and extremely sincere. Its hard to find good contractors I always look for integrity, honesty, professionalism and quality. Miguel possesed all 4 qualities so we decided to go with the patio. We discussed design and paver color combination. Miguel assured me the As the project started we decided to add benches and some landscaping on the side of the house and behind the patio. Miguel and his crew were all very polite kind and thorough. The workmanship is incredible and Miguel takes pride in his work so every aspect is checked. The project came out better than I expected and I am beyond pleased. We now have an additional living space where we can entertain and host gatherings I am extremely satisfied with the patio. Its absolutely beautiful.
