"I had Geno replace my gutters & install gutter guards in July. I waited to review the work until now so I could determine how the gutters handled the falling leaves. I am very pleased with the job Geno did. It took him & his crew about 4 hours to do the job & did an excellent clean up job when they left. I have had no clogged gutters & the wind blows off the leaves. I had 3 estimates for the job. His reviews were excellent & I felt his gutter guard was very good & he came in with the lowest bid. "Water damage from behind patio flashing caused a full replacement of 20 fr of sill plate, sheathing and concrete replacement with correct slope to ensure water drains away from home. Sam and his crew did an excellent job - arrived on time and finished with quality product. House needed to lifted to remove sill plates and it was done professionally. Concrete placement was done with high strength concrete and rubberized flashing used on all pressure treated wood that was replaced. Galvanized nails and screws were used with pressure treated wood. And all cement shingles were replaced and sealed. Long days and quality work at a fair price. Home is now secure from water damage for the future."

"We had to get some stucco done on the home, contacted Anthony Daly, who came out to look at what exactly needed repairing. Once we agreed on the updates, the crew came out to do the work. The workers showed up on time and always cleaned up at the end of their work day. If we had any questions or concerns, Mr. Daly would respond to us as soon as possible. He also kept us up-to-date on any additional cost and would explain the price change. The crew did a wonderful job with the stucco repairs and our exterior improved vastly. After the updates were completed, we received many compliments and people wanted to know who did the work."

"Excellent Terry Hughes came out and gave estimate and I received a beautiful proposal that spelled out everything accepted and within a matter of a week I had a beautiful new roof all employees were excellent and everything was cleaned up and it was dusky so they came back next day to make sure everything cleaned up. "When we first met with Lew Merryfield, our home was a disaster.  Smoke and intense heat had made it necessary to completely gut and restore our home.  It was a time of great despair and confusion.  Lew was very reassuring that his company would be able to handle to assignment and allow us to return to a home that was better than ever, and agreed to bid the job in the format requested.
After the contract was signed the Merryfield Construction Group was very active, and progress was made every week.  We opted to hire our own subcontractors for plumbing and HVAC, and an electrical contractor recommended by the provider.  The provider and their staff worked well with the other contractors and were communicative with us during the process.  A promise to never abandon working on our home for any significant period of time was kept.  Building options and recommendations were presented at appropriate times and were appreciated.  Lew and his brother George worked with us to solve problems that arose and we always felt like it was a partnership and that they took great pride in their work.  Additional work outside the original contract and work change orders were appropriate and reasonably priced.
The fire was one week before Christmas in 2013, and we were able to move back in late October 2014.  Although this time frame was slightly outside of the original estimate, it was not considered unreasonable given the nature of the work and the change orders. After we moved in, the provider has done a nice job on following up any problem areas and punch list items.
We are very happy with our "new" home and are confident that the provider will continue to stand behind the work.  The overall job turned out much better than we could have expected.  Lew and George Merryfield, and their staff, particularly Tom Ferry, Sean, and Scott, were always respectful and friendly, and took obvious pride in their crafts.  In conclusion, we are glad we selected Merryfield Construction Group and would not hesitate to use them again in the future or recommend them to others."

"We had Brian replace our entire roof, including ripping two layers. Brian is always very professional and knowledgeable and the quality of his work is excellent. The job was delayed due to weather and schedule run overs in jobs before ours, but Hope provided us with regular status updates so we knew when to expect them. We used Genovese in the past for repairs and were very happy with the roof replacement.

"     He was pleasant and thoroughly professional.  He called before he arrived to tell us he was in transit.  He asked thoughtful questions to diminish his impact on working in our house while we were there.  He took off his shoes when he worked inside and wore an interior sock shoe. He spread down a thick towel whenever he put window or screen panels on the floor.
     Even tho it rained  hard all day, he did not cancel.  He did 3/4ths of the work from inside. ( the inside of the window, both sides of the storm panels and the screen)  The next day he came back to do the exterior of the windows that had to be reached from the outside and by ladder.
     When he finished all glass surfaces were sparkling clean and streak free.    The screens were freed of years of grime and returned to their aluminum color. My windows look brand new in this 88 year old house.
     My husband and I are feeling pleased with the renewed light flowing from our clean windows.   I am very glad I found him on Angie's List.  I will use him again.!!!

"It went well. as a matter of fact it was excellent. Me and my husband was riding by and noticed some one having work done so we pulled over and was looking at the work that was being done. We then inquired. the guy was so nice he took our address and like he said he would stop by when he had time to look at our property. He came by spoke to us and took measurements and we made arrangements with him he showed up like he said. we asked for a contract no problem he gave us one we looked over it he signed we signed and he started the work on friday, removed all the cement from our walk way came back on saturday and by sunday i got up to turn off the porch sunday morning and omg, he was out there working laying down the brick sunday afternoon what a wonderful job. me and my husband was so excited! he went over and beyond and exceeded our expectations. thank you again and can't wait to start our next project. i would highly recommend M.
