They build a beautiful paver patio (honestly, it's a nice small patio--a professional job); laydown a ton (probably true in weight) of river rock along the side of the house, back and front. Installed edging to prevent the river rock spreading. FYI, I have one of those narrow lot, two story (newer) homes you see popping up all over the Portland Metro. The crew also built a paver pad for me to put my garbage and recycling bins (that before were left on top of dirt/bark). Finally, they laid new sod for the small front yard (about 10'x10'--small enough that I don't feel too bad about the lawn's water consumption). I'll have Affordable Quality Landscape back in autumn, after the summer heat, to add plantings and trees. Note: Originally, I wanted to do work during the summer of 2021, but I waited too late (July) to contact Tony... they were already booked through September. This year, I called in early May."

"It went great!!! The day before the work was done, Dustin came by to check out the project and give me an estimate. The first thing I was impressed with is that he called me when he was about a half hour away and said he was on his way. That gave me time to be prepared. When he got here, right away he could tell the Japanese Maple had a fungus problem. He gave me quote for the work to be done on both trees and we set it up for the next day. The next day - same thing! I got a call from him and his brother Rusty telling me they would be here within the hour. (Who does that anymore....give a courtesy call?!?!) I was so impressed. They got here and Rusty went right to work and pruned and shaped up the Japanese Maple that I hardly recognized it was the same tree!! It was a beautifully done job!! He then sprayed the tree trunks for the fungus issue. In the meantime, Dustin was getting prepped to get up into the large birch. They do not use a bucket truck, but rather a harness and ropes. He was up there (I could hardly see him behind all the branches) and then branches started coming down. Before he came down he got my attention on the ground to see if there was anything else I could see that needed pruning out. I gave him the 100% beautiful job signal and he came down then. They got everything chipped up, raked up, cleaned up with barely a single flower broke over down around the base of the trees. The price was incredibly reasonable and I would recommend Tillis Tree Care for anyone who needs pruning and tree work taken care of. The price listed here is "after" the discount."
