They put in a temporary patch until they were able to redo the entire roof a few days later (as the prior roof was installed incorrectly). "During a heavy rain  in the middle of November we noticed that there was water leaking out of lights in our downstairs(it is a two-story house) and I suspected that at least one of the vents on our roof was leaking and the water was traveling down through the walls. I climbed up on the roof and found that four out of six vents had large holes in their rubber collars, allowing water to run down into the house. This must have happened during a windstorm we had a couple of weeks before. I duct-taped the vents as best as I could.
I called Pfeifer Roofing because they had replaced a roof on my rental house last year and I felt that they did an excellent job. Dylan came out and looked at it, then gave me an estimate over the phone. It seemed high, but it was an emergency with more bad weather coming. When I received the proposal/contract, the price had gone up another $50. Dylan told me that it would probably take a week to get a crew out, maybe a little longer because they were so busy.
Two weeks went by with no word from Pfeifer, so I called and was told that I hadn't even been put into the schedule yet and it might be another two weeks! I explained that I didn't think my duct-tape job was going to hold much longer. Another week went by and nothing was happening, so I emailed Dylan and (to his credit) he was able to get me on the schedule for the next Monday. They came out in the morning and finished quickly.
I am giving Pfeifer an overall of fair because of the lack of communication and price (and I've also found some debris in my yard from their work since then), but they are friendly people to work with and I would probably work with them again. I just hope they are better at scheduling next time!

"These workers were so professional it was a joy having Antonio, Willie and Alejandro here. They came prepared with a trailer and their gear. They even had their own port-a-potty!! Clean cut, hard working, worked their butts off with smiles on their faces. These fellows worked from the time they got here until it was time to leave AND they cleaned up after themselves EACH DAY leaving the yard looking pristine. As bad as it was finding out I had a river running through my attic and a ceiling coming down in a bedroom due to this leak, necessitating a new roof (Raindrop DID NOT install the old roof!), I was actually sorry to see them go. I can't thank them enough. And the job looks great. Even the neighbors say so! And a thank you to Tony, the supervisor. He would stop by wanting to make sure the job was to my liking. Questions or concerns just call him. I really appreciated his customer service! And last, thank you to Mac from Hammer and Hand who recommended Raindrop in the first place. They were a wonderful company to do business with."

"They did an awesome replacing my roof. They are very responsive with anything I asked about the price was very reasonable. They were fast clean and professional. They even did some repair on some of my window trim that needed to be done because of dry rot. They made sure everything was done 100% correctly. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs a new roof or any repairs in their house. I plan on using them again next spring for some wood trim around my windows again."

"Rufus Aylwin and Aylwin Construction have been operating for years in the Portland area. We find they are easy to work with. This was the second time Rufus helped us out. He was strongly recommended by a friend and Realtor. The roof was leaking and Rufus immediately sent members of his team to tarp the leaking part of the roof It was an old roof and overdue for replacement. The new roof was applied after installing several damaged plywood sheets. We no longer live in the Portland area so this had to handled long-distance. We have confidence in their professionalism."

"Ricardo Gallegos responded quickly to my request to bid on a low slope PVC membrane roof repair. His bid was reasonable and clear, better than several other companies. The Job: My roof was installed incorrectly around the chimney by the original installer which caused the decking underneath to rot out. Ricardo repaired the roof in September 2025 and I am writing this review in December 2025 after several very rainy days and am happy to say the job is holding up very well!
