"L&L made several visit including Saturday and Sunday to evaluate the job and made several suggestions as to the best way to replace the roof without any damage to the interior of our house.They promised to pick a good day to do the job and complete the job in one day. They arrived at about 7:30 AM with a crew of about 10 workers and had the complete roof replaced and the yard completely cleaned up before 4:30 PM. This included new lead flashing for the chimney and replacing 2 sheets of plywood. In addition they guaranteed the workmanship of the roof for as long as we owned the house. We had no problems at all.

Chris is the stereotypical salesperson; tell the customer whatever they want to hear, to get their signature on the dotted line. This is especially important to note, if you're looking to hire Rising Star because of other reviews, and are planning on filing an insurance claim. He'll start by telling you that he'll handle everything, easy as pie. What this really means is, he'll guide you along the way, because the insurance company is only going to want to deal with the policy holder, so actually it's you that will be doing the handling. It's also important to note; because of his, "tell them whatever they want to hear" personality, every time you speak with him, will be like the first time. He won't remember what he said the time before, and will instantly go into telling you whatever he thinks you want to hear today. And what he thinks you always want to hear is, all is good, no matter what roadblock the insurance company has thrown in front of you, it'll all work out in the end. And what he really means by that is, no matter the outcome, in the end, Rising Star will make a profit! Would I recommend them? Depends. If you're filing an insurance claim, and are totally clueless about the process, yes, as long as you go in with your eyes fully open. Looking to hire for a straight roofing job, probably not. I'm sure there are any number of companies out there that also do quality work, will do it for a better price, and won't tell you the sun is shining, when it's actually raining cats and dogs!"

"Working with Overstate was the right choice. I had 3 companies coming in and giving me quotes to replace the entire roof , including installing new plywood since it was a cedar shake . Yani walked me through the whole process, we improved the venting which was a good thing and I got a brand new Owens Corning shingle roof . I?ll definitely recommend to friends and neighbours ."

"This was not an easy project as it turned out. It was for half the roof but as it turned out the thing was done. Once the roof was uncovered we found joists that were rotted and required replacement. When checking the other side there was no water and ice barrier at all and had a small rotted place so the whole roof was done. When repairing the roof, either a rotted timber or a human foot came through the ceiling inside. This we had repaired for $750.00 yesterday. Steve was very accommodating in repairing the roof and assisting us in other things. He put on GAF shingles but told us there was not a warranty lifetime nor have we received any paperwork from GAF. We previously had a house done with GAF and received all the necessary paperwork outlining the warranty which was 50 yrs for that one. Just strange."

"Our home is a contemporary with vertical cedar siding. Prior to painting the exterior of our home, the siding needed to be power washed and some minor carpentry repairs to the siding were necessary. Joe, the owner of J. Corrigan came out, explained the process that would be followed, and gave us a reasonable quote. His crew was extremely polite, efficient, and respectful. They spent a lot of time on prep work, which is very important, and we were generally very happy with the paint job with some minor issues. Joe showed up at the job site every day to check on its progress. Although he personally did not inspect the work that had been performed, and it was up to us to point out any concerns we had, Joe was very responsive to any issues that we saw as the work progressed. Over all, they did an excellent job and we have recommended them."

"3 Son’s Siding & Gutters LLC did my roof about four months ago.They came and gave me a price that was more than fair…3 Son’s were very professional,work very safely.They stripped two layers, found that they had to get plywood and replace the whole roof, it was a bit more but they did the plywood, re-shingled the roof in the one day.i was very impressed with the way all the workers did what needed to be done. The job was done in a day and a half,all the mess was picked up went around the house with magnets picking up all the nails.All I can say I believe they are very professional, very concerned about how my property was left I think it was cleaner than when they started.Very good crew did a great job couldn’t be any happier.
