"We began the process with SunPower when a representative knocked on the door and asked if we were interested in exploring solar power. After this we were put in touch with Arvin, who guided us through the entire process and was thorough, transparent, helpful, and responsive. First, Arvin met with us in our home for over an hour exploring all the details of various options including PPA (power purchase agreements) and financing. After we expressed initial interest during this meeting, SunPower sent a site inspector to our home to analyze our readiness for a solar panel installation. After this, we stayed in touch with Arvin while exploring the details of our home’s solar power system. Initially, we were hesitant about the idea of a PPA since we wouldn’t own the panels that were on our roof. Once Arvin explained the details of how the PPA works, including provisions for if we do construction on our roof or move to a new home, we became much more comfortable. We ended up choosing to go with a PPA because we liked the idea of paying only for the power being produced, rather than for the equipment itself. The proposed system of solar panels was projected to cover 90% of our home’s monthly energy needs."

He thoroughly explained what he would be doing during his visit, and then proceeded to start inspecting and cleaning the panels. After he was finished doing his servicing, Israel took his time while thoroughly explaining his findings to me. It was exactly the information I was looking for to put me at peace of mind that every was working properly with my system. Additionally, he showed me before and after pictures of my solar panels so I could see how clean they were after his scrubbing of them. To say I was impressed with both the results and the friendly customer service would be an understatement! I thoroughly recommend these guys to anyone who needs their solar system cleaned, assessed, or repaired!"

"We recently had Mega Power Electric Inc install a solar system and panels. The President and provided excellent communication all the way through the process. He even met with us after installation to explain the almost incomprehensible PG&E bill. Although not the least expensive bid, his was competitive and I felt he was as interested in educating me about solar and the various types of panels and inverter systems as he was in selling a system. "I 90% like them. They were very good all the way through the process. However, finding after a year of having the panels that I haven't produced enough electricity and the electric company is billing me a large sum of money for the difference. They are looking into it now but I don't know what the outcome is going to be. Other than that, they are a great company. I paid $30,000 for the panels and I get the tax credit this year. I never checked any other companies because I have trees out front on the south side and no other company would even put panels on my roof. This is the only company that told me they had a way of doing it, and they put the panels on the back of my roof, but still facing the south side. Since there is no other company that would do it, I have no comparison for the price. The quality of their work was great. They were all very good to work with. They should not have given me the expectations that they did. They said that their panels would take care of all the electric that I was using so outside I would be able to use my electric heat as well. It would produce enough and it obviously hasn't. They made a mistake on that. For the most part, I think that they didn't have my tree problem so it's a great company."
