"<p>I am writing this recommendation for Procrete and their owner Dave McBride. I decided to engage Dave and Procrete after searching for a hardscape / paver contractor local to my summer house in Margate. There are many contractors who will work at the shore, but my preference was to find a company based in the area vs. an hour away. </p> <p>Dave was very professional in his approach, and consultative. I shared with him what we were looking for, to completely rebuild our back yard, from 50 year old ugly cracked concrete and a chain link fence to a new vinyl fence and pavers.<br></p> <p>We shared our vision, and Dave’s firm provided a sketch of what the back yard could look like with a specific paver design, which we ended up going with – while making a few changes along the way.<br></p> <p>We also had Dave install a built-in gas firepit that has exceeded our expectations. It is now the central point of our new back yard.<br></p> <p>While at it, I also had Dave replace my old cracked driveway with new concrete and pavers for my front walkway. AS his team was already at my house doing a job, the extra cost was not prohibitive.<br></p> <p>My biggest concern going in was using a contractor that I did not have a previous referral for. Dave provided referrals plus a list of properties in the local area that he did work on.<br></p> <p>I must say, the work was top notch and we are thrilled with how our back yard came out. I had no less than 4 neighbors comment on the work they were doing and their commitment to doing a good job vs. a fast job.<br></p> <p>I have been screwed before by contractors that finish the job 80-90% and then never come back to truly complete the job. Dave even came back to finish all of my items on a punch list after the job was done.<br></p> <p>I 100% recommend Dave and Procrete for hardscaping, paver and concrete work.<br></p>"

"After a roofing fiasco, my house was left with copious water damage through three floors. With the exception of 2 rooms, all of the rooms had water damage. MSI was very responsive and walked me through what to expect with the process. With covid and the extent of the damage, MSI talked me through the process, took ample precautions against the plague, and answered all of my questions. After starting, Joe of MSI kept me in the loop with any updates and any concerns they encountered. With the age of the house, I was really worried that there would be surprise costs and the remediation could damage old woodwork. I didn't need to worry. MSI professionally removed all of the water damage and adapted the plan to make the future repairs easier. They made sure my house was habitable after their work was completed and that my home was well set up for the next slew of contractors to properly finish the repairs. I don't know how they removed so much plaster without scuffing the narrow stairwells. The crew were very respectful and kind. They were on time, they showed me things to look out for, discussed what to expect everyday, and they were very cautious with my pets (making sure doors were closed, etc.). With the pandemic still looming, they wore masks all of the time. The price was right on target with what Joe anticipated, which was a massive relief as I am used to prices ballooning with an old house. They communicated with my home insurance too. I'm so happy that I was referred to MSI rather than going with Servpro, which would have been hella more expensive and not tailored to my house's needs. Though I sincerely hope that I don't need their services in the future, I will definitely be a return customer to MSI if a water tragedy comes my way again."

As the floor was badly marked I decided to have epoxy or polyaspartic flooring done so I looked online for a local provider. David and the company had great reviews so I contacted him for a quote. He was quick to respond, call out and quote and then start the job when I agreed the price. He actually managed to reschedule his work to suit my timeline which was really appreciated. They identified two areas of trouble; my patio slab connected to the back of my basement and two vertical cracks 10 feet high.  They poured concrete and replaced the slab including a bell drain for drainage which came out very nice. Even built a stair that leads to the sliding glass patio.  They repaired the vertical crack by digging down to the bottom of my wall (excavated) and they used this waterproof gel, then filled the space back with dirt. It looks very nice. The waterproofing and concrete work came with a warranty which gave me comfort. They also sprayed the basement with a mold remediation product and did an OZONE treatment to purify the air. "They were very organized and prompt with quote and setting up the work date. They replaced an 80 ft sidewalk and replaced a double gravel driveway with a paver border in 4 days. Their price was 1/2 what another local company quoted me. Unfortunately, it got some nicks in the pavers adjacent to the sidewalk. I think the lawn moyer used by the lawn service might have caused it. Would appreciate it if they could see if it could be repaired so it doesn’t deteriorate further. Overall, think their work is excellent, reasonable and would highly recommend them."

"Gil and his crew at Goias are amazing to work with. Each crew is so hard working and perform quality work, paying attention to detail. Gil is so honest and fair with his suggestions and pricing. He does not try to add things on to bump up the price and he even made suggestions and offered insight on some modifications he would suggest to be better for us. We used Goias last year for tile and concrete removal and a new floor install in the kitchen, living and dining rooms and the workmanship was so incredible, that they were the first call we made this year when we had a few new projects that needed to be done. Jose and his crew started with the painting. They spackled, sanded, primed and painted stairways, hallways, all bedroom doors, the kitchen, living and dining rooms & one bathroom including the ceilings and trim. They did an exceptional job and everything looks perfect. It is the best the walls have ever looked! Next came Thiago. He removed the old railings and installed new beautiful handrails and railing on the front porch. He took his time, meticulously installing everything perfectly. What a face-lift this was for the porch and it looks like a different porch! Incredible! Then Jose came with his landscaping crew. They removed concrete, retaining walls and a couple of tons of stone along with old flower beds and tree/bush stumps. They installed two new retaining walls, new flower beds, a new mailbox post and pavers all along the front of the house and walkway. When they were seeding the lawn they even went above and beyond filling in other areas of my lawn and seeding those areas as well even though they weren't at the spot the work was done. I let Jose pick the plants and he did an incredible job selecting beautiful, low maintenance ones at my request. Every single crew cleaned up when they left each day and left my home in immaculate condition. They were also very careful with opening the doors and the gates making certain to keep my dogs safely in the house or yard. I have referred Goias to everyone that needs a solid contractor as I know they produce quality work, are fair in pricing and are very responsive. It is so stressful to put your trust in a company, but I promise, Gil will live up to and then exceed your expectations. Thank you Gil for taking pride in your company!
