"Time consuming but worth it. They understood Ann Arbor's local ordinances better than any other bidder, and were the most competitive bidder (if not by much, but they still were the lowest bidder). They made multiple trips to ensure the estimate was accurate and took pains to find a fencing solution that would comply with Ann Arbor's convoluted rules, yet be both functional and aesthetic. Multiple install trips as well, to deal with tree removal issues and weather problems. Final installed fence is beautiful. We likely will follow up because the locks installed on the two gates installed are proving difficult to manage, but I fully expect this issue to be resolved satisfactorily. (We have not yet contacted them about this, so it's not their fault that this issue remains unresolved - it's been a complicated year for us and, having worked with them, we trust in their ability to resolve this concern later. If we are wrong about this, we'll follow up on our review.) We found Upright Fence through Angie's List, and it was a good recommendation. We would do it all again exactly as it happened if given the option. We are so relieved to have the old, collapsing wooden fence removed and a new, vinyl fence - properly installed along the lot boundaries. Our thanks to the Upright team...we can understand why they've been in business so long. Experience does indeed count for something."

We love the color, style, and the quality of work plus the quality of the sales and installation teams. </p> <p>Ken was our salesman and did an exceptional job of explaining the benefits of using their fencing and provided a reasonable estimate in comparison to other companies we had contacted. Ken is very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. </p> <p>The crew who installed our fence were exceptional. They were friendly, thoughtful and let us know at the end of the first day when they would be returning. It is a very large backyard and took 2 days for the fence to be installed and then a few hours a third day installing the gates and post caps. When the guys realized on the second day that where we wanted to end the fence on the one side would not look right, they promptly asked us about our opinion and we heard more than one time and quot;you're the customer, whatever you wantand quot;. We ended up moving the one side back a few feet and Ken adjusted the pricing - no hassles. After the job was completed, we noticed that we didn't get the post caps that we had originally wanted and called Ken who said and quot;No problem, we will send someone out to take care of it right awayand quot;. And that is EXACTLY what happened. We have a beautiful fenced in backyard and a very pleasant experience with Rafab and would advise anyone needing a fence to call them for a truly quality experience from start to finish.</p> <br />"

"I needed a replacement gate for a chain link fence.   The only gates I could find ready made were too big for the opening.   Most of the companies I called could not be bothered with such a small order.   I called Casey's on a Saturday morning expecting to get an answering machine, I got a real person.   In a few minutes,  I had a quote and placed an order.   I picked the gate up a few days later.  The gate was ready.   I was helped with loading.   I was warned the new gate would not match my old gate.  I replied any gate I put next to a 30 year old gate would not match.  The clerk laughed. <br />"

"Water from Stump pump and 5 gutters diverted by 2 french drains to close to the road in front of the house for the water to run into the gutters along the road. Plus sod laded all round the new addition after adding top soil to slop the water away from the house. Also made ready area for me to add a patio area. Put down top soil and seeded areas where pipes that was put under ground. Also note Gino came out and gave us an estimate in March. We decide within a week to hire them to do the job. But as it was too cold and wet to do the work until April. At the time we signed the contract we were asked to pay half of the cost at that time. HOWEVER Gino did not cash the check until work was under way. As he could not give a firm start date because weather. Gino and crew did a great job. Would highly recommend them!."
