"It was by far the best service we've ever received from a service provider! I happened to meet Mr Wallace at the local Sherwin -Willams paint store during a Sunday afternoon supply run. As we both were waiting for an available sales clerk we chatted and Mr Wallace was a wealth of information on home improvement "how to" advice. As we parted I casually asked if he knew of contractors willing to do our small job. I was at this point, in a panic because the day before I learned my daughter, her fiancé, their pets and all of their belongings would be moving back home as they both got jobs in Indy! His pricing was very competitive and the scoop of work left NOTHING overlooked! On the agreed start day Mr Wallace arrived with his crew and walked them through all of the planned work. He returned that evening to check on the progress, in fact Mr Wallace checked on the progress and quality of the work everyday of the three day job. With his guidance we also performed the tasks we needed to do, in the evenings, to be ready for the tradesmen arriving next. Over the past four months we have undergone several home improvement projects: landscaping, exterior house painted, foundation and masonry work, plumbing, whole house carpet cleaning, roof and window work... a total of 10 service providers, with over 30 dudes and dudettes working on my property! "MR. COUCHMAN WAS REFERRED TO ME BY ANOTHER COMPANY I HAD DO SOME WORK IN MY HOME. HE IS LICENSED, BONDED AND INSURED, AND HE GUARANTEES HIS WORK. HE DOES JUST ABOUT EVERY KIND OF WORK ON A HOME, INSIDE AND OUT. HE WORKED ME IN TO AN ALREADY BUSY DAY WITH ONE DAY''S NOTICE. HE WAS LEAVING ON VACATION THE NEXT DAY, AND WANTED TO BE SURE I DIDN''T HAVE ANY MORE LEAKING WHILE HE WAS AWAY. HE FIXED THE CAUSE OF THE LEAK, THEN WENT OVER THE ENTIRE ROOF TO CORRECT THE SAME ISSUE ON ALL OTHER SHINGLES IN THE VALLEYS, SINCE THIS HAD NOT BEEN DONE BY THE BUILDER THREE YEARS AGO. THE WORK IS GUARANTEED, AND HE SEEMED A VERY FINE, HONEST AND COMPETENT PERSON TO HAVE IN MY HOME. I RECOMMEND HIM HIGHLY FOR ANY TYPE OF WORK."

"The work itself was perfect.  Our only disappointment involved the delivery of the premade stairs. Mr. Simmons cut many branches off the side of the blue spruce tree next to the sidewalk.  If my husband had not walked out of the house in time to stop him, the hole would have been even bigger.  Mr. Simmons explained that he didn't want tree branches in the way when the new stairs arrived.  When the stairs arrived & a tow motor carried them from the truck to the porch, it drove around the other side of the front yard to place the stairs down.  It never came close to the beautiful 2-story blue spruce, which got gouged for nothing.  We are still sick about it. <br /> <br />"

"The whole process started about a year ago when we had water in our basement after a heavy rain.  Not knowing who to call, we called Honey Creek Contracting.  They immediately sent someone out because they could hear the panic in my voice and they were on a job site close to us.  When they came out, they fully understood how we got the water in the first place and what needed to be done to correct the issue.  At that time, they gave us a "patch job" to get us through until we could have the entire roof replaced.  Prior to receiving this water in our basement, we had approximately four other roofing contractors out to diagnose the problem.  We heard everything from, "there is nothing wrong" to "it is your guttering."  After changing the guttering, and that did not help, we were back to square one, that is until HCC came out. <br /> <br /> Fast forward to today, HCC has been on the job now for four days.  Our anticipated completion date is August 25, 2011.  You might think that is extremely too much time to put on a roof, but let me tell you, these guys have encountered just about everything that can go wrong!  Jack & Tom will NOT cover up something that needs to be redone.  They take their time and do it right the first time.  They understand that the Manufacturer's warranty that I recieve completely depends on how they do the installation and they will not let you down.  When taking off the old roofing, they found that some genius had not used any nails or screws to install our soffit and facia boards.  So, when they removed the roofing and got to the drip edge, everything else came tumbling down and it was that way all around our house!  Instead of covering up the issue and moving on, HCC has rebuilt the soffit boxes, replaced the facia boards and will be installing new soffit vents!  They will absolutely NOT cover up someone else's work, if it is not done to HCC's rigorous standards.  They are pulling off our old siding to make sure the roof will drain properly and not get behind the siding and cause our water problem again. <br /> <br /> If you want someone to come in, do the work, and get out, Honey Creek Contracting and Jack Denny is probably not your best option.  They do not leave until the job is completed and completed correctly.  In talking it over with my wife (and Jack does not know this yet), when it comes time to redo our kitchen, he is our man!  There is not going to be any shopping around for contractors, it is going to be Honey Creek Contracting!  Jack and Tom Denny will always be welcome at our house!"
