"Been a customer for many years, including weekly mowing and several larger projects over that time. They are always courteous and professional, and we couldn't be happier with the results. We already anticipate enjoying the shade of our new river stone patio this summer."

"Keystone Custom Decks was absolutely amazing! This summer we took on a very large outdoor project which included an inground gunite pool, paver pool deck, fire pit, paver patio with an outdoor kitchen and bar, and a 20 x 20 covered deck with a fireplace. We used 3 separate contractors for each phase of our project. Despite a minor setback in scheduling due to Covid, Keystone understood the magnitude of our project and how one phase affected the other. They were able to flex their schedule in order to make sure they weren't holding up the other contractors. When the project started it was like poetry in motion. Daniel and his crew were the ultimate professionals and their workmanship was impeccable. Their methodical approach and receptiveness to our input made the project stress free and enjoyable from beginning to end. They traveled 3 hours daily roundtrip to our home and were still the first contractors on site every day. Keystone uses the strongest and best quality materials to build your deck. There are zero short cuts and you get what you pay for!!! We couldn't be happier with our final product. Thank you Keystone Custom Decks!"

"I can't say enough good things about Earthtones Hardscape. Jeff gave us a quote for cleaning and sealing our paver patio. He kept in constant communication as to when our job was scheduled and when his workers would arrive. They showed up on time and stayed late until our job was finished. They leveled several pavers, removed stains and sealed the pavers. They protected our sliders from the spray, hosed them off, and even moved our patio furniture. I was impressed with their attention to detail. They made sure that we were completely satisfied before they left. They went above and beyond our expectations. Highly recommend Earthtones Hardscape for all your Hardscape needs."

"I had him do several small jobs and one bigger job. The small jobs were hanging ring towel holders in two bathrooms, hang a smoke/c.o. detector, replace a piece of siding outside. The big job was installing a new disposal. A couple days later my dishwasher wasn’t working so I called a company to come fix it. But after giving it some thought I decided maybe it had something to do with the new disposal. And sure enough, it did. So I had to cancel the repair people and called Handyman Helper back. And they realized the problem immediately and sent the guy back on Monday morning to fix it. He said he hadn’t done one in a long time so he mistakenly left off a major thing to connect to the water outlet from the dishwasher. It was an honest mistake and I was extremely pleased that it was taken care of so quickly. It just caused a minor inconvenience with the dishwasher because I had to get out the water standing on the bottom that couldn’t drain out before it was fixed."

"This company gave stellar service!!!!  After contacting them a date was set for an evaluation.  The company showed up when they said they would.  A thorough inspection was done by the company.  I was provided with books from which to choose the pavers I wanted.  I was advised that in about a week I would receive a proposal.  In one week the proposal arrived!   Costs were in line and I agreed to proceed.  I contacted the company and advised which pavers I had selected.  Due to inclement weather we had to wait a week or two.  I was contacted and advised when the company would show up to do the work.   They showed up on the date and time they said they would.    The job took about 3 -4 hours and the results were spectacular!   No damage was done to my yard or any shrub.  With the exception of the work that was performed, which was contracted for, you couldn't tell they had been there.   They cleaned up everything!!!  Very easy to work with.  They maintained consistent contact, even follow-up.  I'll certainly use this company for all my landscaping and hardscaping needs! <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Carlisle, PA

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
