"Very professional from scheduling to billing.  Gave up front cost estimates that were accurate.  Crew was on time and professional and took care to cover everything to shield other areas during ceiling repair.  We were very happy with the end results. <br />"

"Four Seasons provided eight hours of yard work cleaning up around my house--removing leaves and debris and generally neatening things up. They even helped by moving some potted plans off my deck, which I will be repairing. I have used them on several occasions and I've always been very happy with their work."

"Exstream Landscaping did an excellent job. Their pricing was MUCH lower than the two other bids we received. Getting the job started took more time than I would have liked ... but quality contractors tend to be booked well in advance. It turned out to be worth the several weeks' wait. The crew was friendly and worked thoughtfully and hard. This meant that the job took some time -- about two weeks. But the deliberateness equated to a job well done. This was not an easy job -- every rock had to be hand-carried uphill from my front driveway to the backyard because of the way my house lot is situated. The work crew never complained and often worked more than eight-hour days to get the work done. The crew sought my approval in advance for changes in approach as the work progressed. And they made one after-the-fact rather major revision without issues. The work has elicited "ooooohs" and "ahhhhhs" from my neighbors and friends and we are very pleased with the way it turned out. In fact, we have already referred one friend to Exstream Landscaping and will happily do so again in the future."

"Our house is at the bottom of a very dark, 400-ft driveway, adjacent to a ravine, and almost entirely covered by trees. Needless to say, it's VERY dark at night, and somewhat dangerous to walk up or down the driveway. Scott installed a series of low-voltage downward-pointing lights high up on several of the trees, which are wired to an light-sensitive switch. The lights come on automatically when it gets dark, and do a very nice job of lighting up various sections of the driveway. All the work was done in one day, with absolutely no problems. <br />"

"Here's the problem with Bentley: They do excellent, meticulous work and I have absolutely no complaints about what they've done. I'd use them all the time...except they're almost impossible to get hold of and they apparently don't like doing estimates. I'm remodeling my home because I now live in a wheelchair and needed a lot of ADA-type modifications. I built a shed out back that needed its own subpanel, wiring, and lighting, I needed to replace the main electrical panel in the house, have washer/dryer outlets installed in the top floor, add lights in many spots, replace electrical outlets that another electrician had removed, and update the electrical in a remodeled bathroom. My contractor walked Jay through the house and showed him what needed to be done (I was in hospital at the time), and after some additional back and forth Bentley came to the house and started the wiring and electrical panel projects. That was great, but no one had given me an estimate for approval; they just started. I approved retroactively, wondering what it would wind up costing me. I talked to Jay at that point, asking him to forward estimates for the rest of the work. He said he would, but I never received them. That was in May. I found that while his crew was here they were open, friendly, extremely competent and did a great job...but once they left, good luck getting them back. It took several weeks for them to return to finish up conduit and such so the contractors could pave the area. Asked for estimates several times more, by email or phone, and always when ...and two months later, I'm still waiting. I finally heard from them over the weekend--my check for the original work apparently had gone astray and they needed another--and asked again for estimates. This time I heard from Jay--he didn't have the estimates, thought his other electrician might, and he would get back to me. He was scheduling in late August (it's mid-July now). We have been waiting on Jay&crew to set up electrical in the new laundry room so that I can safely and comfortably live mostly upstairs (right now I must negotiate two flights of stairs to do laundry). It's mid-July; he finally said today that he was scheduling in late August. That means that I'll have nearly six more weeks of being unable to live safely in my home, hemorrhaging money for contractors...and I STILL don't have an estimate for the work. As much as I love the quality of your work, guys, I just can't afford to keep waiting."

"My husband and I had the great opportunity to use Patriot Strong Landscaping Service for our backyard. Nick was very knowledgeable and did an amazing job excavating, backfilling and laying down sod. Our yard went from a big mess to a lush green lawn in just a few short days! We highly recommend Nick for your landscaping projects as he is reliable, reasonable, and knowledgeable."

"It went...OK. For the money, we expected a lot more. In the end, we were left with paver dust all over our landscaping and garage door, some lights there were haphazardly installed and fell over in a strong wind, and about 15'x15' of our backyard grass destroyed. For the price we paid, this wasn't acceptable. They also told us when we were all done that we'd need to find an electrician to connect the transformer for the lights, and then they left. Overall, at the price point, we felt they left the job just good enough to walk away. Throughout the project we had to correct a number of things, from the step height onto the patio, to the quality of the cuts on the pavers they installed. It was nearly impossible to communicate with the crew they sent (no english speakers), and they seemed to sub-contract the work to a team with another company's name on their trucks. I think we ended up with well installed pavers, but the collateral damage and the process to get there weren't great. Especially at the price point. I would look elsewhere and get more competitive quotes on our next project (and we're going to do the front of the house next). I also would get them to commit to really *finishing* the job well. Don't leave paver/concrete dust all over the place. Don't leave my grass destroyed. Don't half-install the landscape lighting and then just bail. I paid you a lot of money to finish the job. Please finish it."
