"United Freight did a great job and were timely and even ahead of schedule. There was a Tropical storm tracking for VA, and they got the car accross country and off the truck and to me in time to beat the rain. They were also good with communucation the whole way."

"The caulk she applied the first time had to be replaced. She readily volunteered to return and redo it, but after I had to cancel the scheduled appointment because of a conflict, she would not answer her cell or e-mail to reschedule. It took five days for her to call back to reschedule. The second application was fine and her costs are very reasonable."

"As part of a bathroom remodel, I needed the light switch moved to the side of the door and the overhead light moved closer to the center of the room. That was the electrical part of the project -- Kevin also did other parts of the remodeling too -- installing the tub and plumbing for it.
"

"I highly recommend Don and H2o Proofing! Our large 29 year-old house had a concrete tile roof and, for years now, many problems with roofing leaks. I spent thousands of dollars with different reputable roofers trying to fix the problems. Don was referred to me as a specialist in difficult water leak problems.
From his first visit, he impressed me with his experience and knowledge, with very clear explanations about details in the original
design that led to problems, and why some of the past fixes didn?t work. He was flexible in attempting a repair but honest enough to recommend considering a roof replacement as the best way to make sure all underlying problems were addressed. We had a very detailed discussion about modern materials, and ultimately I decided to replace our tile roof with premium composite shingles.
His crew started work on our house right after Labor Day. They were punctual, courteous and dedicated to doing a quality job. There was no stray damage to the house and they left our site clean every evening. With the tile roof off, there was extensive dry rot to the decking and eaves ($8000 worth of work here). His carpenter did an excellent job, duplicating some very complicated structures perfectly.
The new shingle roof was installed and looked great (I was very concerned about the change in appearance). Our house is stucco, so the job included cutting out the stucco at the walls all around the house, sealing the liner, reapplying stucco and painting, which, along with the new eaves and trim came out perfectly. We also replaced all gutters.
Through this all, Don was always available when I had questions or issues and immediately communicated with his team.
This big job took most of 4 weeks of constant work. The end results were fantastic then, and now, after multiple big rains, every leak issue was fully fixed. Don was smart about what needed to be done and made it happen. Roof work is not something you want to do over and over again ? get it done right the first time with H2o Proofing. I recommend Don and his team unconditionally.
"

"
Max Baggett is a great guy to work with, friendly and accommodating. He always got back to me in a timely manner when I called and explained clearly what he was going to do so I knew exactly what was going to happen. He's not inexpensive but he tries to keep cost down as much as possible while still giving you good quality work. I expect the workmanship will last many, many years. He and his crew did a first rate job in upgrading my 1950's home. He gave excellent advice and if he wasn't sure on some decorating point he admitted it. The kitchen hadn't had any work done on it since the 1960's. The first job I had done was the 3/4 wall height paneling I had installed in the kitchen eating area. It looks like something from a craftsman house. It instantly added interest in the kitchen. The next thing was replacing the formica counters in the kitchen with silestone. I also had a tumbled marble back splash put in at the same time to match the silestone counters. I am very happy with the results.

After that was remodeling the bathroom, also from the early 1960's. It was gutted. When replacing some walls it was found to have extensive termite damage, almost all the wood had been eaten where the bathroom window was. The only thing holding it up was the outside of the house! Max took me personally to pick out the bathroom sink stone top at a small stone yard so I didn't need to buy a huge piece, I appreciated that a lot. So I saved money there. His talented work crew did a bang up job installing the tile in the room.

The next to the last job done was evening and replacing all the floors in the house. The kitchen floor wasn't the same height as the adjoining floors and people would trip going in or out of the kitchen. That was fixed. The carpet in the living room and bedrooms was over 40 years old and was replaced with a dark hardwood floor including the hallway. New carpeting was installed in the bedrooms. Crown molding was installed throughout the house. The crown molding looks especially outstanding in the hallway.

The last thing done was installing a gas insert and covering the original brick fireplace with green marble. I kept the original wood mantel. The fireplace is a fantastic focal point of the room now.

If I should need any more work done I would definitely have Max do the work as it is top quality.

"

"So our air conditioner died this weekend, great timing I know, but when is it ever? The air is going to go out on the hottest day of the year and the furnace will go out on the coldest ... Anyways, looked for a installer for A/C and was luckily to find Chris was available on a short notice job. He was already booked but was able to communicate a good time that worked. He already had one person ahead of us that day, and he would give us a call when he were on his way. I got a couple text messages from him letting me know how long the wait was expected to be, which I thought was great and really appreciated. Chris was efficient, clean, and was able to replace our unit that day. He diagnosed us with needing a new capacitor, replaced it, and was on his way. Everything took about 30 mins and our house is nice and cool again. Good experience with him and I would recommend."
