The fence is a dual sided redwood privacy fence that he hand cut on the last plank to line it up with the curves of a tree! We mentioned that the neighbors didn't want to be able to see through it, so he ensured they can't. I also appreciate that he took an old gate I wanted to repurpose as a trash can screen and incorporated it into the fence design with no problem. I see this fence outside my window and along my walkway so I really wanted to make sure I made the right choice in fence companies and Guillermo exceeded my expectations!"

"Nice people, they claim to give a lifetime warranty including resealing seems or any problem at all. They showed up as scheduled, took a bit longer than expected. I was very happy with the way it looked when they were finished. Im still happy with the way it looks. After they left I noticed they had drilled a hole in my concrete walkway and pounded in rebar to mount a gate post but they didn’t plan it right and I believe they called the owner out who decided to put the post in a more suitable place. Unfortunately the cracked concrete with a flush cut piece off rusty rebar remains as an eyesore. After a month or two the gate post on the opposite side began pulling out of the stucco on the side of my garage. I took it apart to find they used cheep plastic anchors so i just went and replaced them with metal concrete anchors myself so its never coming out again. I figured despite the warranty id just get it done. Fast forward to present June 2019 and i noticed that 2 of the base plates of the fence are not fastened to the concrete on one end allowing them to swivel out of place when the neighbors gardener does yard work it pushes them out of place. I contacted Sonrise and was given a date two weeks away that they would show up but they could not give a time. Sounds stupid but fortunately I’m retired and can sit home all day waiting for them to show up because hey what else do i need to do right? never showed up. I emailed again and the Forman called and apologized said he’d be out the following Friday. Never called never showed up. I emailed again and its been a week and a half with no response. so much for that lifetime warranty. I am really happy with the way the fence looks but cutting corners on simple stuff has me a bit confused because when you say lifetime warranty to fix ANYTHING wrong. Well you’d expect no short cuts because then you’d have to come fix the problems ... Unless... you have no plans to fix anything at all. I don’t care to write a review like this but when you jerk a customer around then just ignore them what else is left to do?"

"GK Painting: Gary Kassabian, GK Painting Company, is an expert, detailed, knowledgeable, thorough, and pro-active contractor whom I have relied on for several years. He first painted the interior of my two-story town house with absolute perfection. Since then he has followed up on several repairs at my town house through the years, i.e., insulation, dry wall, pipe-fitting, vanity replacement, and painting which have occurred due to problems created by other plumbing companies. Above and beyond the call of duty, he contacted the company who recently installed a new water heater for me since they did not complete the installation per code resulting in their immediate action to comply. Most recently he actually “saved the day” by single-handedly discovering a new water leak due to a malfunctioning air conditioning pump during the hottest week in 2020 in the garage which created yet another leak in the walls adjacent to the original problem he was contracted to repair, just prior to his repairing that recent plumbing problem and he personally arranged an air conditioning company to immediately install the new air conditioning pump. I recommend GK Painting 200% to anyone needing work done on their present or new home!"

"It worked out well. I haven't gone up there to check the gutters myself. But they had a crew out, they worked. I think they did a good job. They came out the day after I purchased the Big Deal. I got them to give me an estimate to fix the leaks in the roof, but I thought it was too high, so I went with someone else. They did the job efficiently. They had a lot of guys out here. Very good price. I'm assuming it is done properly. We've had a lot of rain and I don't see any problems. I would use them again if they gave me that good deal. It was a good service, but the prices are high, unless you get a discounted offer through Angie's List. The estimate for the roof was very high. The young guys who did the work were really very professional. The job they did was good."
