"I had to fire Quick Care Home Repair. They were scheduled to come on a Monday. A couple days before, they canceled and said we'll have to come later in the month. So 4-5 weeks later they came to work on the project. I ended up being the project manager for the sub contractor, he lied to me, Quick Care lied to me (perhaps unintentionally, not sure), and after 2 weeks of not starting on the project after the 4 week delay, I asked for a refund. It was confirmed by email that they refunded me and it would take 5-10 days to hit my account. After 10 business days I hadn't received a refund. So I emailed them. Then I got a receipt for the refund and it said it'd be 5-10 days to receive it, meaning they didn't process the refund when they said they would. So 20 business days later I'm receiving the refund, which is also 2 months since the whole fiasco began. The whole process was extremely stressful and irritating and I still don't have a door. Beyond disappointed."

Angi recommended them on Sept 30. After multiple delays ? photos requested on Oct 3, job surveyed Oct 4, estimate received Oct 7, and price agreed ($100 per window frame) ? they finally scheduled work for Oct 17 at 9 a.m. By then, the project was already a week behind, but I agreed to wait. On Oct 17, I checked in at 9:14 a.m. and was told, ?Absolutely, I?ll be there before noon.? Then came excuse after excuse: a ?family emergency,? ?Kenneth is on the way,? ?45 minutes out.? They never showed up. At 5:30 p.m., I told them not to come since I had already done half the work myself. Zero integrity, zero respect for people?s time, and no work ethic whatsoever. A complete joke of a business ? stay far away."

"I'm really late writing this review, but Fidel and the crew did an absolutely fantastic job building us a new deck. We talked at length about what I wanted, and he remembered everything I wanted done and did it perfectly. They used all long boards where appropriate, minimizing end-to-end seams. All corners are square and fit well, nails all subsurface, and quality wood was used throughout. The work was prompt and efficient, and cleanup and debris removal was perfect. The team was prompt and on time, and the job was finished faster than expected. We love our beautiful new deck, and wholeheartedly recommend JC’s Contracting. Thank you, Jose!"

I was nervous about hiring a contractor but Hugo was recommended by a friend. « Go with Hugo, he did a superb job of carpentry in my house ! ». I am so grateful to her! I did hire Hugo. As for his work, the words “top-notch”, “first-rate” come to mind. He and his crew are outstanding professionals. The whole construction was done with such care and proficiency. My husband and I are delighted with the result. Hugo’s work was not inexpensive but I did not want to end up with a car port ! Considering that we got exactly what we wanted, with the quality of both material and workmanship, we felt it was a fair deal. Also, I appreciated Hugo’s passion for his own work and the advice of an experienced builder. As a bonus, he was completely trustworthy, showing up when he said he would, meeting all date-lines, explaining small delays while waiting for Inspections from our County, etc… and taking care of “everything”, like permits or attending to last minute requests. And then, there is another aspect of the total experience: giving us peace of mind instead of worries.. That, to me, was very valuable."
