"I contacted many fence companies to replace a section of chain link fence and replace a single gate with a double gate. Responses included 1) they don't do chain link fence any longer, 2) the job was too small to bother with, or 3) they simply didn't return my phone call. However, North Star responded positively, and I could tell after talking with Jeff that customer service is a priority for them. The entire process went extremely well, and we are very pleased with the results. John, the owner, was out within days to prepare a proposal. He is extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and professional, and a pleasure to work with. He also came back out to set the posts, a critical aspect of the job. Installation of the chain link was done very neatly and carefully, yielding a very nice-looking fence. It is exactly what we were looking for. I would strongly recommend North Star Fence."

We decided to go with A&M and couldn't be more impressed and appreciative for all that we got. The install went great and the communication and follow-up from Curt has always been A+. We also ran into a bad collar later on (under warranty) and the exceptional service from Curt continued where he helped us trouble shoot (first over the phone) and when that didn't work, he came to our house and fixed the issue. "I'm glad I waited 10 years to write this review, as now the fence they installed has failed. At first it looked great, but I wish I had asked more questions and watched what they were doing at the time. The cedar posts were not treated in any way and they did not pour concrete footings for every post. They also used nails instead of screws on the panels and now nails are sticking out. When I called him recently to come back, I was disappointed that it was out of warranty. Our previous fence lasted 31 years! He gave me an estimate to fix the fence, then I called other companies for additional estimates and found out that they will not fix a fence they didn't install. So, I emailed Security Fence again to hire, but he never got back to me. Do not hire them unless you make sure they use treated posts, use screws instead of nails and make sure/watch them pour footings for every post. Now I have to either find handymen to fix my fence, or put up a new fence. If I put in a new one, I will choose vinyl this time. If Security Fence makes this right, I will update this review."

"We had our deck tear down and build done by Outdoor Solutions Inc. late summer of 2022. The finished product turned out much better (appearance and quality of construction) than we could have imagined. Jim and Christi Funk, the proprietors, were very easy and friendly to work with. Jim was very informative in helping select the material and describing the process. He was great at describing the qualities of TREX materials and the type of railing that would be best. His crew, with Josh as the lead, was very thorough and conscientious in doing the work. They definitely wanted to do the job the right way. Bottom line, we have a very beautiful deck at a very reasonable price. People comment on how well it fits our house. For area of improvements’: project start date could be better planned and material delivery could be better coordinated. Outside of this, we are very happy with work done on our deck."
