"The Good Initial Consult - I got quotes from Wow1day and 2 other painting companies. By far they had the most detailed initial consult.They took measurements of every room, were engaged and asking questions and were super responsive during the whole process. Price - They have competitive and fair pricing. They also had the most detailed price quote which broke down the cost in a very clear and transparent way which made it super helpful but also made us feel confident that the cost of the project would stay consistent with the initial quote which it did. Project and timeline - Overall they did a great professional job on the project. They clearly communicated the project timeline which was 4 days. They started & finished the project on time. They did a nice job of prepping the house and a fair job of cleanup as much as possible. During the project they were very communicative, they had us come check out any issues, some of our walls were dark grey that they were painting white, two coats weren’t enough so the had us come in, check it out and give authorization for additional coats of paint.They did miss one small area and had a few minor areas they needed to go over but that was to be expected for a project of this size. After the project was done, the following week their manger came back to inspect the work and make any repairs which was really great. The not so good that ended up great! - We experienced a pretty major snag with the project but Wow1day demonstrated integrity by fixing the issue for us free of charge. We chose Benjamin Moore colors for all our walls which WOW1day matched to Sherwin Williams. Unfortunately, one of the colors we choose didn’t look like the Benjamin paint color we had exhaustively swatched and picked out. The other areas that were matched with Sherwin Williams looked close enough but this particular paint had a green undertone which was very unattractive. This was a pretty large area of the house so we were concerned with the rework and associated charges but owner Mike stepped in and ensured that the walls were repainted with Benjamin Moore Paint free of charge. The way they handled this was ethical, professional and courteous and we really appreciated it. I would definitely work with them again and recommend them to friends and family. Lessons if you are looking to hire for a big painting project: When working with contractors such as Wow1Day make sure you swatch the right brand because there is a difference between the brands, it’s subtle in most cases but in our case the undertone really ruined the color for us and had to be repainted. Or if you really want a certain brand specify it in the contract. Ultimately though, we love the finished project and are super happy with the work, our house feels refreshed and new right in time for spring."

"I hired Zef to finish my basement and he exceeded my expectations. It was done timely and for a fair price. I also had him paint my kitchen cabinets and we fell in love with our kitchen. "In spring of 2017 (May) I hired Flanagan Painting to paint my stucco house. I had initially wanted only my trim painted as paint was peeling badly. He explained to me that he noticed cracks in my stucco in both house & garage & he could patch those up & if I would have the whole house painted, he could use a special paint to also help seal the cracks in the stucco. Since I didn’t know the last time the house was painted (I’ve owned for only 7 years) & because I thought a full paint job would help seal out pests of all kinds, I decided to go with his suggestion of full house & garage painting. (I didn’t feel pressured by him at all to do full paint job.) So glad I did! Joe Flanagan & his assistant, Jonathon, did a great job on my house & garage! And at a reasonable price! And with a 5% Angie’s List member discount. He also suggested power washing my wooden fence, which was unpainted & unstained & had turned an ugly gray. He said if I did this, it would look almost new again, with a tinge of the original orange color. He was right! The fence looks so much better. And he gave me suggestions on staining it to maintain it. He also was careful of my perennial plants that were coming up around the house, which I appreciated – I did mark them to help him avoid. They were detail oriented & careful in their painting. He also noticed & pointed out a hole in my eaves which he chased a squirrel out of & plugged up w/ rocks as a temporary barrier. And he & his assistant were both so congenial, friendly & easy to work with! And answered all my questions! I will definitely hire again for any painting work!"

"Jose did a great job. He didn't ask for any money up front, instead waiting until the job was about half done to ask for a portion of the fee . He and his partner were timely, professional, and put in a lot of hours. They really wanted to make sure I was happy with the work and I am. He was patient with me as I wasn't sure of the color so he put some on the house and let me look at it to decide before going further. He also just really went above and beyond expectations. His fee was very reasonable and included more than other bids. For instance, he did a lot of caulking around the house, he painted the pillars (including TONS of finish nail holes left by the builder 9 years ago) on our porch and all the trim. The other bid we had was significantly higher, and didn't include the porch pillars or any trim. And Jose could start within a couple of weeks instead of a couple months. He essentially did the porch for free. Although it wasn't part of our original agreement, he also offered to sand and stain our small back deck as well. He was meticulous and overall just did a very nice job, and is a nice guy as well. I expect the paint to last for some time as he used good quality paint and did a spray on coat and a roll on coat as well."

"We moved from out of state back in October and came to our new to us home with a few surprises. The deck being one. In early Spring we reached out to T&A, with not knowing any contractors in the area etc we were very lucky to find them. Got us on the schedule and assisted us with colors, the process etc. After it was all said and done we were not only absolutely impressed with the staining of our deck but know they are available for so much more. "The Nonhof team was great to work with. Grant was professional and transparent throughout this process and showed a lot of integrity and delivered on everything he said he would. There was a delay because of his dry wall guy who was doing the ceilings and Grant brought in another guy for a quote, but we ultimately decided to wait for the original man because that is who Grant usually uses and he said he does great work and was also cheaper. Grant and his team went above and beyond and did extra patching to make the walls look really nice. He told us what the extra patching would cost, which we agreed to, but he decided not to charge us as a "thank you" for us being patient with the delay which we appreciated. They even put all the switch plate and outlet covers back on for us which we weren't expecting but was also appreciated. The ceilings and paint look great, and I would definitely hire him again."
