"Justin and his crew have been amazing to work with every step of the way. 0ur roof was damaged in a storm last summer and we put it off until this year to have it looked at. Justin was extremely responsive and timely in coming to look at it, met with the insurance agent on extremely short notice, and was highly knowledgeable in helping us to understand the insurance process. He and his project manager, Darrin, were always available to answer questions and help us with samples and decisions. While they helped us understand every step, we never felt pushed or talked down to. The communication both ways was always very quick and polite. The entire team that worked on our property was obviously very skilled and took pride in their work. They took extra steps and time to make sure that gardens and landscaping surrounding the house was carefully protected during the tear-off process. That being said, they did work very quickly! At the end of each day, they carefully cleaned up the work area. Based on our many interactions with JJ Home Services, we booked him for several other projects around the house (siding, bathroom remodel, door and window install). He steamed away all of the ice dams from the back roof/eave.. This was my main concern. He also removed most of the ice dams from the front of the house. The price I paid was for 2 hours of work. After 2 hrs of work was completed, we discussed whether I wanted him to continue and finish up the front eaves. He thought it might take 30 minutes. He also said that he had steamed the ice so that remaining ice would likely melt safely. I paid for 2 hours work. He explained his procedures and costs. If there was a mess, he cleaned it up.
