"I hired Fence Doctor to repair a few sections of my fence that was damaged during the winter storm. Got a few estimate, one was 30% lower than Fence Dr, but ultimately decided to go with Herb since he seems to know fences really well, and was able to explain things. Pros: - He and his crew are excellent at doing their work, fast and efficient and cleaned up after themselves - Really like the newly installed fence sections Cons: - He pushed out the installation date 3 times due to various reasons, and told me the day before he needed to change the date - His initial quotes didn't match what he told me verbally, resulting in delays to begin the work. Overall, I'm satisfied with the work Herb and his crew from Fence Dr did, and will recommend his service."

"They installed about 160 feet of redwood privacy fence with three gates and an additional gated enclosure for a heat pump. For the wood fence itself they did excellent work. Quality material and accommodated some unusual features which meant the entire job was done by one contractor. The owner suggested and installed special gate latches that allow entry with a code on a keypad, which actually got them the job. Their failing was the crew doing the work did not understand how that special gate latch worked, and how to construct a gate to properly use it. I am handy with tools so I was able to spend a day to modify and add to their work to make the latch work. Not everyone is in a position to do that. They over-promised in that crew doing the actual installation needed more guidance for a completely successful installation. So if you have a standard fence and gates with standard Home Depot style hardware, I would recommend them. But if you need something unusual they really are not able to handle it and you need to plan to get that skill set elsewhere."

"Roberto recommended the removal of an overgrown tree and root system that caused a large 3-4 foot crack in the front entrance walkway. The tree removal was included in his bid. Proper drainage lines installed to channel water run off away from the house. Beautiful new colored & stamped concrete was installed. His work ensured the new concrete would be at the same level as the existing backyard deck. His work exceeded my expectations."

"Dave is great at returning calls, came and gave me an estimate, recommending a paint that he feels give the best coverage and is the best quality. His paint supplier was able to match colors from other vendors. Dave and his helper showed up when he said that he would, covered everything and cleaned as they went. I was comfortable with leaving them alone in my home while I was at work. I love the finished job and will use Quality Custom Painting again in the future (I have more rooms and more colors!) The final bill was exactly the same as his estimate and the work was completed in the time frame he had indicated."
