"<p>I see why my realtor referred me to this company. </p> <p>The fence looks solid with very straight, clean, lines. My favorite feature (that set them apart from the other fencing companies I visited with) was their fence gate. The gate actually rolls open/shut on a wood platform that the company installs into the ground - so practical yet so necessary to prevent the usual warp that happens with fence gates. Quality!</p> <p>Called them on Friday, had a quote by Monday, and the fence was finished by Wednesday! They are efficient and seem motivated (it rained for a little bit but the workers waited out the rain in their cars and then jumped right back on the job until they finished.</p> <p> I am impressed!</p> <p><br /></p> <br />"

"I initially contacted David to get a quote and go over my different fencing options. For what I was looking for, he recommended a wooden fence. He came out and gave me a quote which was within $200 (less than) of the other two quotes I received. David said that he would be able to get it finished a few days after I received the approval from my Homeowner's Association. I received the approval about 3 weeks later, and I called him. Unfortunately, he said that he was a couple of week's behind because of the rainy weather we had. He did, however, offer to put up a temporary chain link fence so I would be able to let the dog out, which was what I was primarily concerned with. While I waited for that (we continued to get awful weather), he called me about 5-7 days later and said that he would not be doing the chain link because he could fit me in his schedule and knock out the wood fence. Yay! He was going to be out of town at the beginning of the following week, but he brought his guys over to walk the area and give them specific directions/mark the lines. On Monday, the guys showed up early in the morning and worked all day to get the posts in. The following day, they were able to complete the fence. It looks great! The material is made of good quality and all of the posts are very uniform. It is exactly where I wanted it. I did have a little interaction with the guys when I had come home during the day to receive a delivery. They were very professional and upbeat. I was impressed by both that and their efficiency. David did not ask for payment until I was completely satisfied...which is exactly what I was. I am very happy with both the company, people, and the work they did. <br />"

"This company did a very good job on the brick wall and it looks just amazing. The staff was always professional and was practically OCD on how the bricks were stacked and how they were laid. Although it took longer than expected, I am willing to sacrifice time over perfection anyday. The second project however didn't go as well as the first one. They hired a plumbing sub-contractor to do the tub work because they were scarce on resources and they damaged the tub and some other items doing the tub install. The thing I was impressed by, this company took accountability for their responsibilities and made sure the tub was repaired. They then offered if it couldn't be repaired that they would have it replaced in needed. No Argument . That was an amazing experience dealing with them on the issue as I never felt stressed while they were figuring out our options. In the end the tub looks great and most importantly they are being hired to tile the floor and shower surround in the bathroom based on my dealings with them. Things go wrong in the world, we can't change that, however we must own up to our responsibilities when things do go wrong. My Handy Mate did just that and it is a company you can trust even when things don't go completely as planned.  In my opinion, a true company's rating is based on how well they respond when things don't go right not when it all is perfect. A true persona of a company is revealed when things go wrong and in the end, My Handy Mate is a company you can trust and depend on. <br />"

"Neal was very responsive and he quickly contacted us after our initial message. He was very accommodating and he worked around our schedule to to pressure wash and stain our fence in less than a week. He charged a reasonable price and he did decent work. I would definitely consider using him and his team again for small projects around the house. <br />"

"I called S and E when I was in town for a very short period of time to install a fence for my secondary home. He came right at the time he indicated. He looked things over and gave me an estimate using new and used materials to keep in time with the home. The estimate he gave me was for $500.00 less than the other fencer I called and I was a little concerned that the workmanship might not be that good, but decided to have him do the work anyway. <br /> It turned out great and I am so pleased. I can't see where another $500 would have made a better fence. <br /> He was a wonderful person and I would use him again. "They came out and did an estimate. We agreed to service. It took just over 2 weeks for materials and they installed the fence. They worked around a difficult Satellite dish we had near our property line. The gate they ordered was the wrong size. We had to wait over another 2 weeks for the gate. They were not very good at informing us in advance of when they would be out unless we kept calling. Now that all the parts are here, we are happy with the fence. <br />"

I called Suzie (who also has a cake business with the best red velvet cakes ever) on a Saturday, she showed up with her husband the next day and the crew was there the next week to start the fence. I was house hunting in San Diego at the time and Carolina Fence didn't need anything from me and went to work. I came back from San Diego and the work was completed (about 2-3 days for a good size privacy fence around 248ft). Pricing was up front and fair, people were AWESOME in every way. This company is Veteran owned and operated, something my family takes extremely seriously and the amount of professionalism shown from Carolina Fence Co. was truly a breath of fresh air knowing that someone is not trying to take advantage of you.
