"Great. Left a text which was replied to withing the hour. Glenn provided an on the spot estimate followed by a written proposal the next day. Once we were ready for painting he was notified on a Friday and on Monday he and Augustin showed up early and completed the job by Tuesday evening. Very polite, careful, flexible and even touched up some walls/doors not included in estimate."

"We thrilled with the outcome of our painting project! Jeremy and his team were great to work with from the initial meeting and estimate to the final results! They arrived on time each morning and communicated effectively with us throughout the project. His choice of paint with a satin finish has provided us we an elegant 'new' living space. We have Grateful Painting on our speed dial and will contact them for any future painting project!"

"Mike was very professional from the first phone call. He came that evening when he said he would to give us a estimate.
We originally called for a estimate on staining our fence front and back and after talking with Mike we also asked him to pressure wash the house. He came when he said he would and did everything we asked, he even went the extra mile and stained our yard swing the same color as the fence.
We were so happy with the job he did on the fence we then asked him to stain our deck, we had tried to stain it on our own last year and had really made a mess. He had to work really hard to get the stain off but he did a great job and our deck looks so good.
It was a pleasure to work with Mike and we are very pleased with the work he did and will definitely use him again. He is prompt and does a high quality job. Our fence and deck look great and we have received compliments from friends and neighbors, we highly recommend him.

"As a first timer to the Angi App, I feel blessed to have found a company that gave a fair price for the work I needed done, and then actually did what they said they'd do, and left me with an excellent experience with Absolutely ASAP Paper Hanging. This dynamic duo of William's came prepared to hang my wallpaper, installed my product to absolute perfection and left the jobsite fully cleaned. I am so impressed that I give Absolutely ASAP Paper Hanging 5 out of 5 stars. My recommendation is to make them your first call, like I did. Honest and upright team! Go William's! And thank you for a job very well done."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Cedar-island, NC

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
