"Earlier in the day, I had made an appointment with Service Professor to have the disposal installed. I had everything organized and ready to go. All they had to do was take out the old one and put in the new one. Under the sink was cleared, the pipes were fine, and everything was ready. Regardless of my preparations, they charged me a service call fee of $59 and wanted to charge me another $300 for the installation. I called Budget Plumbing and did not have an appointment. Ryan, the owner, arrived in the early afternoon with a garbage disposal in case I did not have one. He went to work immediately, had the old one out in minutes, took the cord off of the old one to save me money, and installed the new one. Everything was done in less than an hour at a cost that was less than $150 and well within my budget. He guaranteed his work and said he would come out if there were any problems. He also tested the installation to make sure that it worked. Each item I paid for was a line item and there was not any fee for coming."

Not knowing where the source of the leak was, I turned off the water to the entire house and first thing on Monday morning I called a large local plumbing company and was told nobody could come until New Year's eve, or maybe the day after New Year's. I found Affordable Plumbing on Angie's List, called, and Don came within 3 hours. He identified the plugged sewer drain and snaked it right away which fixed the problem. While checking to see that all drains were working, he discovered a corroded drain pipe in the furnace room, beneath the concrete surface. He didn't have time to fix it then but made it workable until he could return, which he did after New Year's day. He fixed the hole in the pipe and tied in the condensation line from the furnace/AC. His work was efficient and high quality. He showed me everything he did and explained the work. I was very pleased with the service he provided. The $450 I was charged included two visits to my home and fixes for two separate problems. <br />"
