"Wonderful experience with Planted, LLC! We had Penny design and install complete landscape plants around our entire pool deck, beds on side of house, and even a large bed at a commercial property we own. What we loved about Penny's designs is that they are different then the cookie cutter designs you will get from most landscape companies. She will listen to your likes/dislikes, and then make fantastic recommendations based on setting, colors, etc. She has an amazing eye for design backed by extensive knowledge! The install process was painless -- she and her crew take great care (even going above and beyond by cleaning up and pruning some existing plants to make them look nice even though they didn't have to). She provides clear after care instructions, and is always available to answer questions - we had a few plants that we weren't sure if we were watering too much, too little, etc -- so we sent her a text with pictures of the plant and followed her instructions and fixed the issues! Stands by her work. We would highly recommend and have asked her to design and install additional areas of our yard!"

"I had a large (40') tree fall in my back yard, took another smaller tree with it. Catalpa came in with a very competitive bid (had one other bid about the same, and a third a few hundred higher). The came out to do the job the next day. They laid down plywood to avoid tearing up the lawn with their little front loader, removed the tree quickly (in about 4 hours), cut firewood into 18 inch lengths and stacked it up at no extra charge, and also left me a large pile of woodchips from my tree (again at no extra charge). Did a good job of cleaning up as well. The only potential downside is that while they are insured, their coverage limits are lower than others...if you are concerned about that. They did a good job for me."

"We contacted Davey for several projects: Remove diseased spruce, replant tree line including a consultation on best species and design (27 trees total in the end), and lawn treatments (discussed below). For the trees, I worked with Adam, the district manager for my area and a certified arborist. He was wonderful to work with. We had multiple consultations before starting the job; he itemized tasks so we could pick and choose what we could afford to do. Ultimately, we did not use them for the tree removal because we found a better deal with a guy that was just getting started, BUT we are so pleased we went with them for the planting. Adam was incredibly knowledgeable about what species of trees to avoid (for deer and disease), how to arrange them on our property for best outcomes, and even weighed in a bit on design. I had gotten 3 quotes for planting and Davey was not only competitive, but I also sensed we would get the best advice and the job would be done right. There was one minor hiccup once the project got started - some of the trees were planted in the wrong spot, but Adam and his team (project lead was Steve) were incredibly responsive and professional about it and moved the trees to their correct location the very next week. This was a large project and not all the trees were available from the nursery at once, but Adam kept me informed along the way. Additional pluses - they had great selection of the species we were interested in and the trees are guaranteed for a full year. Regarding lawn treatment: This is our first year doing lawn treatments. For the first treatment (pre-emergent) I was expecting them to come by mid-late may, but they didn't show when I expected, so I called and they scheduled me for the next week (I think it ended up being first week of June). Same thing happened a month later with the first of the broad leaf treatments. They were responsive when I called, but I do wish I didn't have to call. We'll see how fall treatment goes. I will say grass does look great even after a couple treatments and the price is comparable to their competitors."

"Overall, I was very pleased with the results of this project. The crew was excellent and hardworking. I can't comment on the price because I didn't get another estimate. However, I felt that the price was fair for the amount of work that was done. I expect to be using this company regularly in the future."

"<p>Due to previously installed plantings and stamped concrete garden pathways, all demolition had to be done from the terrain above the existing wall.  This made the job more difficult and required special equipment and was labor intensive.  However, Chris assured us that no equipment would traverse the walkway and our existing plantings would not be damaged.  Also, Chris brought in thick rubber mats to protect our stamped concrete Patio in the event any sections of the old wall would collapse during demolition and tumble down potentially causing damage.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>The job was completed in the timeframe we agreed and included special Planter features.  Chris has done hardscape and landscape work for us in the past both here and at other properties.  He is dependable, sensitive to Customer needs, brings creative design ideas to the project and is reasonably priced.  Not inexpensive, but reasonable.  We had competitive bids from other firms.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>The finished product looks great !</p> <br />"
