There are small cutouts, maybe only a 1/16 inch wide that he created to meet the exact form of the interior aluminum walls. He built these so they were secure when we travel, but could also be removed for servicing below the cabinets. He understood what we wanted, and came up with some very creative ways to meet our needs. The whole thing was a work of art. "
