John called me to set up a time to stop by and take a look, prepared a quote on the spot, and I think the work was completed in less than a day. John was very prompt, professional and full of knowledge regarding the project. He even knew where to get the matching brick which I know is not always and easy task. In fact, blocks from the ‘old wall’ were salvaged, because they had a unique style [that is not readily available] A quote from another contractor stated that I would have to accept a rebuilt wall with only standard blocks, no stylized blocks☹️ The work done by Primo Contracting exceeded my expectations."

Arnie, the mason, spent a lot of time cutting and matching the stones. I am very happy with the results. The mantel looks much better than what I had but the finish work is not quite what I had hoped for. There were some issues along the way regarding color of the stones but the results definitely meet my expectations. I do feel that the mantel price more than it should have been.

"The job was done but it is very sloppy. There?s slurry and mortar all over the chimney and we are not confident it?s properly repaired. We have hired a different contractor to re-do the one fixed by Shamrock as well as the 2nd chimney that also needs repair. The tech from Shamrock was a nice guy he but didn?t do the work; his assistant did the work and its a mess."

They also did a minor repair on my garage (tuck point of a step crack) and they tuck pointed two porch bricks. The mortar matches perfectly. I was very pleased with the service from this company."
