He gave some very helpful suggestions, and actually recommended that we do less work than we thought we might have to do. There were a few delays in the process due to weather and other circumstances that Don couldn't foresee or control, but he kept us informed about the process--and delays--along the way. His team did some repointing of mortar for us which was a little messy. When we asked Don about this, he and his team came back to our home and cleaned things up pretty well. We were very pleased with the work Foundation Doctor did, and have found that it pretty much corrected our basement water problem. "I told them about the best sealant and they went and bought it and applied it. They applied exactly what I wanted to the four sides. I know this because I talked to the vice president the next week and he told me everything they did. They did come out on a day that I wasn't here and they used a clear sealant so it's hard to know if anything was actually done. So, that's why I called and and talked to the VP and he told me things you wouldn't know unless you were up there. I thought the price might have been a little high. They did everything they were supposed to. The one thing I wish they would have done is called and told me what day they were going to be here, I didn't know they had been here until I got the bill in the mail. "Exterior painting and aluminum siding removal. Tom was flexible in working with me letting me do some of the prep and repair work on my older home while he was in the middle of the job. My only gripe is some of the painting was done right before a rain storm and the rain made the paint run somewhat, and Tom did not follow up/fix it. Otherwise, the painting job was very good."
