"I had the best experience with All Service Moving! Mike and Stan absolutely rock - best moving team ever! They moved me into my new house from Sumner to Spanaway, then my mom a month later from Renton. They were so efficient, careful, professional and friendly. They made sure all our items were carefully wrapped and protected and they moved everything quickly, yet effortlessly - I wouldn't recommend anybody else to get you all settled into wherever your moving! Thank you guys!!"

"I can't thank Moving APT enough for their outstanding service during our recent relocation. They were prompt, courteous, and took great care of our furniture. Moving from a small apartment to a house across state lines seemed daunting, but their expertise and attention to detail made the entire process seamless. They truly exceeded our expectations!"

"We used Gentle John’s twice, once to move our main furniture and again for our staging furniture. Both times were professional, efficient and they took great care of our things. Both homes had challenges with stairs and busy, curvy roads. This was no problem for the movers. I highly recommend their services and will use them again if we move."

"I grudgingly say that I wouldn't recommend them. The truth is, I wouldn't not recommend them either. They are just as average as the average moving company you pick out of the yellow pages. On the pro side, they showed up right on time and were extremely polite. On the con side, they were SLOW. It took them three hours to just get the furniture out of my 2 bedroom condo. We've owned the same furniture for years and, at least, for the last 2 moves the moving companies had the stuff on the truck in much less time. Also, we had a 3 man crew and only 2 of them seemed to actually be moving our furniture."

"I moved from Maryland to Fort Worth,Texas and the move went good. It took 2 weeks to get my items and they explained all delays and provided detailed updates throughout the entire process. I felt completely safe using their services being that every time I had a question they had an answer. Overall great job. I would definitely recommend."

"I enrolled online at a website that had numerous companies call and bid for this relocation. USL contacted me along with at least 7 other companies. I am not sure how many companies really did call me because I lost count after the 100th phone call. I spent a good hour a day for a week deleting voicemail messages after I entered my information on the aforementioned website.  USL had a well spoken salesman who clearly explained the moving process and gave me a price of $900.00 that was better than almost all of the other estimates I was given. The move day came and the movers arrived within the hour window the salesman had given me during the scheduling process. When the movers started using shrink wrap to wrap my furniture prior to placing the large padded blankets over it, I was a little concerned that I would get charged for the use of shrink wrap. Needless to say, I didn't end up paying any more than estimated aside from the 60 dollars I tipped the mover. 20 dollars a piece seemed appropriate, but since this is my first time using a moving company I wasn't really sure what was appropriate and the salesman told me that tips were not mandatory and to tip based on how I felt the movers did. The movers finished wrapping up and loading all my furniture within an hour and a half. I didn't receive any phone calls from USL for two days after my furniture was picked up, so I decided to call in myself. The customer service representative who answered phone put me on hold for about 5 minutes, and when she came back to the line she told me that my furniture would be delivered in 3 days between 2 and 3 PM. I thought maybe she had just looked at the contract that the salesman had told me and repeated the information. When I asked her if she was sure, she told me that she personally talked to their "dispatch" department and that the shipment would arrive at the same time stipulated in the contract. Sure enough, the furniture was delivered five days after my original pickup and everything was accounted for and in good shape. Two out of the three movers who delivered my items were the same guys who picked up my furniture. They told me that the third mover was dropped off at local USL hub on the way to me to go elsewhere for the company. At the end I thought because I had already tipped the same movers on the pickup that another tip was not necessary. Not sure if that was the right call but what's done is done. All together, if I ever had to move again I would call USL. I'm hoping that doesn't happen any time soon because moving is no fun at all."

"We received many estimates on a very small move that we had from MS to CT. I was "warned" about all the brokers, etc., I read many reviews, some good, some bad on Protected Van Lines. However, I can say our move was handled professionally and without any issues. The trucking firm was State to State Move and they handled everything as if it were our most prized possession. Krista was outstanding, she kept us up to date on where they were in the move since we were having to coordinate with someone else on the CT end.The only thing that came up was on the delivery end in CT, the street was too narrow for the moving van to get to the house. A shuttle was required and it did cost a little more than the estimate; however, it's was there in black in white that additional cost would be incurred if a shuttle was required. If I have another move for any distance I would definitely contact Protected Van Lines"

FAQs for in-state moving service projects in Chama, CO

Laws differ from state to state, but the number one rule is that you cannot move a mobile home on your own. You have to hire a licensed mobile home moving company. While each state is different, you’ll also have to research HUD codes, permits, and other laws specific to the area to ensure your move follows all necessary regulations.

Yes, a permit is required to move a mobile home. You must secure permits in the state of origin and in every state through which the mobile home passes. When moving across state boundaries, obtain a permit for each state. Your moving company assists in acquiring all required permits, ensuring strict compliance with local regulations during the entire relocation process.

No, you cannot move a mobile home built before 1976. Mobile homes constructed before 1976 do not meet current safety standards and must not be relocated. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development enforces strict guidelines that prevent moving older models. Verify the build year and comply with all HUD regulations to ensure safety and legal compliance.
