Tony was able to determine the manufacturer of the original facia based on photos and some information I provided. The facia was 17 years old and I was thrilled that he would be able to match what I had on the rest of my house. When the day came to fix the issue, he walked me through his plan to safely access the area that needed to be replaced, which was on an awkward spot of my roofline between the house and attached garage. After the work was done, he explained what he did and even mentioned a few siding issues that he noticed. "I am giving my rep, Raul, a 5 star rating. I am about to take the plunge and have my house re-sided for the first time ever! My home is 116 yrs old and has only been painted several times over the original wood. However, paint no longer will fix what is happening underneath, with dry rot, aging, etc., so my only option is to have it re-sided & almost start from scratch. I met with Raul, who is "awesome", to say the least. He is knowledgeable, explains everything to a "T" and is so down-to-earth. "We called Hoffman Weber to diagnose and get an estimate on issues we were having with an overhang on our house. Clint Hanson came out, listened to our issues, took a look at things, and in the end offered some great advice and a referral for some minor work. He did not try to sell us anything we did not need. I really appreciate that and when we do need a new roof or siding they will be the first folks I call."

"My house just needed a fresh coat of paint and was to be painted exactly as it was. That didn't happen! Unfortunately I found out after the fact, that Ryan had instructed his crew to paint my house the "same color, top to bottom" because he said that's how he remembered it. My family and I came home to find the entire house had been painted the same color as the siding. All of the trim with the exception of window and door trim had been painted over with the siding paint. I called Ryan and he came over the next day. I showed him pictures of how the trim had always been painted for the past 18 years. This is where the problem started. Ryan began to argue with me telling me that the pictures didn't show any trim paint - that it was just the way the light reflected that made the trim look lighter. He absolutely refused to acknowledge that he was wrong and actually insinuated that I was mistaken about how my house has been painted for all these years. At that point I lost all trust in Ryan and really felt as if I had been duped. He was relentless in his insistence that he was right. He was adamant that the trim had not previously been painted a light cream color even after seeing pictures to the contrary. It seemed as if he was trying to cover up his error by convincing me that I didn't know what I was talking about. Ryan eventually agreed to paint a portion of the trim but never admitted he was wrong about painting over it in the first place and never apologized. As for the painting in general it was adequate. But the back of the house needed to be scraped and painted a 2nd time as all the patching material they used showed through the paint and it was blotchy. This was done but only after I pointed it out and asked to have the problem corrected. Other minor issues were taken care of without incident. The crew was polite and respectful.
