He showed up for an estimate with 24 hours and within another 24 hours a very detailed and professional estimate was provided, breaking down every step in detail. Alex was very open and upfront about timing of ordering materials and kept me informed during the entire process leading up to the job. Each time I had a question he would respond within minutes. When it was time for the job itself his team was fantastic in both prep work/cleanup as well as craftsmanship. The work Oakmont did was fantastic and Alex communication and availability was second to none. There’s the hard sell and false promises (finish a kitchen remodel in 5-6 weeks) when it took 4 months. Unprofessionalism is an understatement. He communicates through texting like a teenager and screams at the client when in fact errors are his fault or his sub-contractors. We provided appliance specs very early in the process and the electrician still made errors for which Ziv wanted us to pay for. The cabinets delivered were incomplete which he blamed on us. He demanded a final payment and threatened to put a lean on our house when the work was incomplete per the contract. Then Subs starting calling demanding payment which was resolved after we provided cashed checks to Sonart Construction. Don’t believe what I say. Read the BBB review complaints for a well-deserved F rating."
