"DO NOT USE, They have no integrity, cut corners and hide their issues. They do not seem to understand the basic understanding of water flow and overlapping of roofing materials. At first I thought that they maybe had a bad guy on their crew that was cutting corners, but after asking them to repair their mistakes, I realized that the Owner doesn't know or care about quality. They left nails all over the driveway and around the house. They improperly installed drip edge, ridgevent, step flashing and starter shingles. Upon attempted repair, they tore and folded shingles. They now refuse to repair the damage they created. Please be aware that I know the owner of the company personally through events done together and if he is willing to do this to me, imagine what he is willing to hide and refuse to repair if he doesn't know you. They will hide issues and cut corners every chance they get and the pictures prove the quality of the install."

Brian joined the insurance meeting and helped me WIN approval When State Farm sent their adjuster, Brian came immediately—even though they arrived early. He waited patiently for the third-party inspector (who was late), and then walked them through every problem area. He clearly explained the hail damage, the leaks, and exactly why it needed approval. Honestly, State Farm is famous for being strict, but with Brian’s help, I finally got approved for a full roof replacement. I was so relieved and grateful. 3. He also helped me get approval for interior repairs There were water stains inside my house caused by the roof leak. I didn’t even know I could include this in the claim, but Brian talked to the adjuster directly and helped me get additional coverage for the interior repairs as well. This is the kind of detail and professionalism you rarely see. 4. The installation team was also excellent Once approved, the Artisan team finished the entire roof in one day. Fast, clean, and high quality. They also found a few issues (like an old dryer vent), took pictures, and sent me updates during the day so I always knew what was happening. Every step felt responsible and transparent. 5. Great communication, great local company From emails about payment, to warranty details, to color selection—they were always clear, quick, and helpful. "I cannot say enough about Steven Batty Contracting, my son in Clayton, NC hired them to do his garage and back half of his home and was completely satisfied so he recommended Steven Batty Contracting to do my roof as well.
