"We met with Leanne in April and talked about the AWR process, made our choices and, because we had already investigated other similar companies decided quickly to go with American Wood Reface. Within a couple of months Terry came out to take precise measurements and go over specific details in order that all the materials could be ordered and ready for our start date of October. The cabinets were refaced in the color White Dove; the center island was refaced in a contrasting color (sage green); a built-in desk and cabinet above were removed and replaced with a custom built pantry with a microwave cubby; two cabinets were moved six inches to accommodate a 6-burner gas range and a hood above; the dark granite was replaced with light colored Cambria quartz (Crowndale); all cabinets were extended to the ceiling to alleviate the need to clean above & crown molding added; new pulls installed on all drawers & doors; pots & pans drawers installed; LED undercabinet lighting added; subway tile backsplash installed; and a two bowl stainless sink installed. All of this was accomplished by one master carpenter, Brandon, who worked Saturdays and even one Sunday to complete the job in the projected time. He cleaned the kitchen work area each evening so that we could use it if we had needed, which we did not during the renovation. The garage work area was cleaned and all tools/saws stowed each evening so we could park in the garage. His attention to detail in all areas of the work was exemplary. The price Leanne quoted is the price we paid! We are thrilled with our new, bright kitchen!"

"I was referred to Paul Davis by my insurance company. I need work done on my home for mold and water damage. The initial consultation with a representative went fine. He came out, talked to me, took pictures, and made measurements and a video of my home. He then said that he sent the information over to their estimator and I would get an estimate in about 5 days. That is when the problems started happening. I received a call from them a few days later telling me that they talked to my insurance company and that the insurance company already had an “approved” quote, so they would not be doing anything for me. I informed them that I have not approved anything because the quote they have is too high and is much higher than the insurance companies’ maximum payout for this type of claim. That is why I reached out to them for a second opinion. I ended the conversation stating the fact that I am the customer, not the insurance company. I am ultimately responsible for paying the contractor, and am just being reimbursed by the insurance company, so please send me an estimate. 10 days later and I still do not have an estimate. I managed to get the estimator on the phone, and he refuses to work out an estimate. He kept ignoring what I had to say and had the nerve to say to me “You can believe what you want, but I am not going to waste my time working on an estimate for you”. I will acknowledge that I did yell at him on the phone at this point. His arrogance and refusal to listen to a potential customer was infuriating."
