"Over the weekend, I had the brilliant idea of attempting to install a new front door on my own without proper experience. After several hours of my own labor and a botched job and soar back to show for it, I sent Do It Right Construction an e-mail on Monday morning around 7:30am. Within an hour, I had a phone call from Chris discussing the project. I asked him to rebuild the deteriorated door frame and build a custom door jam. He asked all the right questions and gave me a more than reasonable quote to repair my work. . The very next morning, Chris and his excellent and professional team arrived at my home at their scheduled time and had the work completed with perfection within a few hours. The best part, he added alot of extra work and materials that were not quoted WITHOUT adjusting his quote. I am currently in discussions with Chris to hire him for a few other projects. On a side note: I sent 7 e-mails to other similar companies I found on here and I have yet to hear from anyone but Chris! If you are looking for a Handyman or have a construction project, stop your search here and send Chris and e-mail! He will call you back and will hold true to his word of "doing it right"!"

"I'm really pleased with the fence installed by P Sqrd. Phil was quick to respond from the initial measurement and quote stages through to the end of the installation. I especially appreciated that he put together the order and emailed me the cart so that I could easily pay at the store without having to figure out exactly what items I needed. He also made an extra effort to see if he could get better pricing for me, which was very thoughtful. On the day of the installation, there were four guys who took care of everything, and I appreciated that so many people were available as it meant the job took very little time. "We had Decks Decks Decks (DDD) remove our old porch, support the roof and install a new porch under the roof with Trex deck boards, railing and fascia. DDD took care of the permitting. They were very friendly to work with and worked straight through the job, weather permitting, without running off to other jobs. We were happy with the price we paid. Our payments were structured to make payments as the job progressed with the last payment made when the job was finished. The porch was built very structurally sound, square and level. DDD helped us choose Trex colors that matched our house very well. DDD set us up with the Trex warranty. We would highly recommend DDD to anyone that needs a deck or porch."

"This was my third time working with this contractor and each project was a pleasurable experience! As was the case with the other two, they started this project on time and finished on time! All the work was done according to strict Mount Lebanon code. They made suggestions based upon their experience i.e we wanted a six foot high shadow box fence but while Mount Lebanon code allows for a six foot high privacy fence of just about any style, they do not allow, by code, a six foot high shadowbox fence. Steve Hilpert proceeded to build us a 4 foot high shadowbox fence (the maximum height allowed by code) with a custom built 2 foot high trellis section which Mount Lebanon subsequently approved. The fence looks beautiful!
I was nervous about cutting a big hole in the wall of our addition to install the sliding glass door. Now the door looks like it has been there all along! It came out PERFECTLY!
The deck is also beautiful and solid as a rock! We had an issue with the location of our two central air conditioning units off the back of the house. The other contractors (which I found here on Angie's List as well) said they would just build over these units. Not knowing anything about central air conditioning this seemed reasonable to me. Steve was the ONLY contractor who told me that you absolutely CAN NOT block the air flow above the units! Not only that, he was honest enough to tell me that moving the units should be done by a qualified HVAC contractor. Now that is a contractor you can trust!
All work was completed on time and within budget. The same crew arrived early each day and were polite and professional. The job site was spotless at the end of each day!

"After living in our house for 10 years, we had been looking to repair our leaking roof and cover the deteriorating wood paneling on the outside of our house. We started our search at the 2019 Pittsburgh Home and Garden show. We met with a few roofing companies and decided to go HomePro Remodelers. "Came to my residence, took measurements, contacted a metal fabricator to who also came to my residence to review the work needed ,made the door from aluminum and installed it. O'Dell contracting called me to follow up and tell me when job would be completed.This is a reliable contractor who kept in contact to let me know the date it would be installed. After the job was completed he contacted me to ask if the work was satisfactory.I would recommend this contractor for any home remodeling.He is to be graded as an A-1 Contractor."

"the coming out and inspection of area was great and they sent the original quote in an agreeable, if not a little slow, time. however they missed one item of estimate which they corrected. however, when I requested they split the two room I was told they would but they never came at the agreed time. i called several times as i needed for the insurance, the price seemed reasonable and i was going to use, the person denied he agreed to re-quote each room on its own and told me unless i paid i was not receiving any quote. i am actually relieved, u think i dodged a horrible situation. i cannot recommend however it would not be fair to advise against using the company, as i think the paperwork and not the repair work is what they are lacking."
