"I've never left a negative review before, but I really feel like I should let people know that this contractor strung us along and never did come and do the work. We scheduled for Apr. 5, then he moved to the 17th, then the 22nd, then the 25th, the he moved the date to September (!!). He knew we had a hard deadline for curb appeal in addition to the seasonal timing of plantings we discussed. What I don't understand is why he kept delaying if he couldn't/wouldn't do the job. Now we're up against a deadline starting from scratch. This contractor was extremely unreliable. If he tells you something, you should probably get it in writing. "

Overall, the team did an excellent job with both the initial installation and the subsequent repair of the discharge lines, which had come apart over time. They were professional, transparent, and truly seemed to care about the project. The only challenge I encountered was not with Mt. Valley Foundation Services itself, but rather with its parent company, Ground Works. From my experience, Ground Works has acquired many smaller foundation companies across the U.S., and it seems they may be struggling with logistical coordination. The call center they use is not very user-friendly, and I experienced multiple miscommunications and scheduling errors. Unfortunately, this puts Mt. Valley Foundation Services at the mercy of Ground Works' logistical issues. That said, I highly recommend working with Mt. Valley Foundation Services. My advice is to obtain the names and direct contact information of the service team when booking—this makes future communication significantly easier. Once I was able to reach the team directly, they went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Living in a flood-prone area, I feel confident that the sump pump project they completed will be a tremendous benefit to our home and property. A big thanks to Danny (the manager) and his team for their outstanding work!"

"Project went very well and the team worked quickly. Everything that I wanted was accomplished. The only issue is a crack that has developed on the back patio. This is due to the existing patio being poured over and not cut out due to being monolithic with the house foundation. The difference is how the concrete was married together is the reason for the crack and not the fault of work. Reason for 4 star is some property was damaged by operator of a skid steer. Parts were paid for by contractor but operator could have been more careful to avoid the issue altogether. Highly recommend."
