"After having been left in a bit of a mess by a previous contractor, we decided not to continue with it, we contacted Shamrock Chimney and explained the unfortunate situation we found ourselves in. Within three days, Corey and Frank had arrived to attack our problem. Corey was astounded at what he found; a torn liner, like one of those in a clothes dryer and dozens of bricks, some removed unnecessarily, scattered on the ground. He quoted us a price, not a lot less than our original contractor had, but we were in desperate straits and had no times to get additional estimates. He said there was a lot more work to do than we had expected and showed us why. He and Frank started work on Thursday and by Saturday noon had, miraculously to us, completed the whole repair and cleaned up the mess we had been left with. We now have two new stainless-steel liners and chimney caps and a rebuilt chimney. I rated the work quality as 5.0 but, having read reviews of other chimney repairs, hope the work will, last and have no reason to expect otherwise. As for 4.0 for value for the money: estimates of chimney repair charges are all over the place on the internet, so it is hard to judge. Corey told me he had taken our plight into consideration when setting a price. Based on our interaction, I have no reason to doubt him. In sum, we found ourselves in a totally chaotic situation on one Saturday, but by the next everything was back to normal or better even. Based on our experience with Corey, with Shamrock you have the luck of the Irish, not so much Emerald."

"I can't explain the work very well but I know Roberto's guys left me with a clean and solid surface of my stone and cement front yard as well as a solid foundation matching up to the surrounding sidewalk. No weeds coming through. Roberto the pro and his solid hard working crew did a very good job, just what I wanted. Roberto will be doing more work around the foundation of my home and a couple other patching and painting jobs. I'm lucky he was available and he answered my call right away. They did a great job of melding their new stone and brick work into the existing adjacent brick work. What especially impressed us was that we have a lot of plantings near the house, and we assumed they would get destroyed to complete the repointing of our foundation. But Eddie and Simon worked carefully around our plantings, and after they were done you could hardly tell the gardens had been disturbed at all. As we negotiated the deal with them, they gave us good references - including addresses of places they had already done similar jobs.
