"The project went as scheduled and at the quoted price. This work included the removal of existing carpeting and the installation of oak hardwood floors in six rooms (approximately 1,600 square feet). My prerequisites were for the installation to include mahogany border / inlay wood in a great room to match the existing border in the dining room, and the undercutting of the baseboard versus the quarter round used by many other companies. This inlay included a double interlocking square pattern in the middle of the room. The design and installation came out beautiful. The four bedrooms upstairs were completed over two different periods allowing for us to clear out two rooms at a time and letting the three coats of polyurethane to properly cure. The upstairs had an existing hardwood flooring in the hallway, which Cliff’s team cut back to weave in the new flooring and then refinish. This came out seamlessly and to look at the finished product would leave you to believe it had been all installed at the same time. Cliff’s pricing is very competitive, he and his team showed up on time for both segments of the project and the quality of the work is outstanding. I would definitely recommend Superior Hardwood Flooring for any new, replacement or refinish work."

"Hiring Vertex's Hardwood Floors to redo the horribly stained maple floors throughout our newly purchased home was absolutely the best decision we made! Cindy and Duoc were both terrific. We had hired, or tried to hire, several other contractors to work on our house, and each and every one disappointed us. One never returned our calls. Two were recommended by friends or relatives, but both were completely incompetent. We were about to give up completely when we found Vertex's. We solicited three bids on our job, which entailed completely refinishing the floors in our living room, dining room, and two bedrooms. The floors were so badly stained that the other contractors wouldn't even guarantee their work. We have a two story house and they laid new floors upstairs and refinished floors downstairs while replacing the floors in the living room. "The house was a bit of a challenges because there were multiple woods (oak, maple, and pine). Getting a stain to match across all these woods wasn't easy. We were also between a few colors, so it was hard to decide. Anh was very accommodating and gave us samples from the workshop as a starting point. We got a shortlist from that, which he then put as samples on the floor so we could really see what it would look like. We made lots of iterations which he was happy to do. The crew finished the work in less than a week. They were prompt and available when promised. Every day they cleaned up their work. In short, we're very happy with the results. Anh was also one of the more reasonable quotes from the list of 4 that we received (his quote was clear/concise and prompt). He was also a referral from a friend, so that made our choice even easier."
