"Did our due diligence for solar.  Sunpro far surpassed all others.  All at the company were knowledgeable, professional, and friendly - from first contact through installation & beyond.  Got the most panels for the price also.  They made the process seamless and no stress.  Communication is great.  They let you know what to expect, follow up immediately & every step of the way, & answer any questions.  Always easy to contact and could answer any question.  Website is full of all the info you need.  They also take care of everything - financing contact, energy company, permit, tax documents, inspection, etc.  Everything is done as promised & quickly.  They do such a great job there is no time to wonder what's happening next.  Installation team arrived as expected & worked continuously to completion.  Cleaned up so well you can't tell they were  here except for the panels on the roof.  Answered our questions & were polite & friendly.

One to avoid:  Solar Advantage.  Bugged us to death, tried to trick us into going with them; sent long email telling us how awful Sunpro is, which was all untrue.  All others contacted in our area no where near came close to Sunpro - with info, professionalism, knowledge, straightforwardness, & follow-up.
Note:  They plan the panels for $25,000 in order for LA residents to get the full 50% LA rebate ($12,500) & 30% Federal credit ($7,500), leaving $5,000 as our portion.

"(Job was started around Jan. 7th) My roof looks good but the chimney looks horrible! If you are looking for a roofer that is punctual, efficient, and completes the job in a timely manner, then Bear's Cajun Roofing is not the company for the job. In all fairness, we had lots of cold and rainy weather that interfered with the installation, but even on the days that weather permitted we never knew if or what time the workers would show up. It took a month for work to be completed, which was very frustrating. Needless to say the job isn’t completed, where they left the trash til this day it’s still in same spot where it was left. Also some of the tin isn’t screwed in certain spots. After numerous times being lied to about coming back I’ve decided to have someone else to come finish the job!"

"Everything went well as planned. They came out the same day I called, gave me an estimate. Told me step by step how the job was going to be completed, and they did exactly that. Got 2 other estimates and they were all close but happy I went with them. Time frame was exactly what he presumed, and clean up was FANTASTIC! Would definitely recommend and use them again. "The Sheetrock repair and the extended wall space was done very well and I am super pleased with the result.  However,we were a little disappointed with the end result of the closets.  Originally we were quoted for a more extensive closet reconfiguration, but due to our budget we decided to extend our wall and to have David reposition our hanging bars and to add some simple shelving in our small walk-in and a bathroom closet.  I am happy with the configuration and all measurements are accurate.  Most of the materials used for the project were reused shelving and poles from the closets which is perfectly fine, but after closer inspection we were disappointed with the quality of plywood that was purchased for the project.   The wood that existed before is a higher quality and more finished look than what was added. We are going to add some dental molding to help everything look more finished.  Also, when I began painting the closet space I also realized that caulking was done only in a few areas and the pin nail holes were not covered.  I did this myself before painting. 

To be fair, I did tell David that I was pleased with everything before he left, but I did not inspect as close as I should.  I just assumed that this job would have the same quality that the first job he performed for us. Because I needed to get the closets finished and painted over that weekend, we did not contact David to talk to him about our concerns.   We did change the original plan for the closet estimate and did negotiate a price that would fit in our budget.  However, I did not realize that I would not get the same finished look that I got from the Sheetrock repair and closet removal project that he had performed before.  He did not need to purchase a lot of materials for this project so I am not sure why the quality was not there.

Overall, his work is great and in the future we will be more clear about our expectations.  This job took 3 days and he finished on time."

"The provider requested OK from Choice Warranty and he was denied. It rained last night and rain came into my home. It could have been avoided if Choice had just approved what I requested. Now, the damage will be greater than necessary. I blame Choice home warranty for my home damage. Now it will cost mote than a simple tarp could have prevented until I could get money to repair roof. The provider was great and tried his best to get something done to my roof but Choice Warranty was horrible and no help. They get a "zero" from me"
