"We had a garage door in the style of a barn door rip off during one of the windy storms in Manomet,Mass and decided to give Angie’s list a try, after selecting three handyman, we decided to go with JJX handyman, he replied the same day we put the ad up, JJX was there within a couple of days to assess the problem, and sent us several photos showing us the problem with the garage doors. He always stayed in contact with us and kept us updated on the work to be done. Between several small snow storms and some illness in the family The job was done a few weeks later which we had no problem with. JJX took care of the garage doors in no time and we are very very pleased with his work and we will definitely be hiring him again for further repairs needed on the garage. Each time it has been with different items: I have had my kitchen remodeled,  a deck torn down and rebuilt, a new roof put on, old fencing disc arded, and a yard cleanup. The only difference in pricing was for the roofing and even though ti was more money it was STILL CHEAPER than a dumpster!!! I don't know how these guys do it, but they pickup on time, without issue andfor the cost quoted. I have turned each of my contractors onto them - now they are using them. They assigned different contractors to do the construction work. One of the contractors said that the job was too big and that they could not do it, which was fine. I respect that. The secretary stated that she would try to find other contractors to do the job. The owner came and walked through the house and we spoke about what needed to be done in the house. I did not feel confident in his contractor because he seemed that he did not know what he was doing. I wanted him to do one specific thing. The owner wanted to take down the whole wall. I just wanted to reopen a small section. I started to feel like they were pushing me. For those reasons I felt uncomfortable and did not go with them. The quote was detailed.
