"Our front entry steps were cracked and pulling from house. In addition they were originally installed with a bad pitch, water flowed toward home. Derek from sun Viking came to my home for the estimate and after having 3 other estimates Derek was the only contractor who actually identified the actual problem and explained to me that simply veneering the steps would not correct it. I hired Sun Viking primarily due to Derek's knowledge and although the price was more than we budgeted for we went for it (We budgeted $6500 for the job). WE COULD NOT BE HAPPIER!!!! This company exceeded my expectations by doing the little things like pouring footers and rebuilding the steps from the ground up they also installed conduit line for adding step lighting or landscape lights to the homes front later on. His employees were punctual and polite. They explained things to me if I had questions as the job progressed. The finished product is just stunning and we have already received compliments from neighbors. Thank You Derek and the Sun Viking team!!!"

They were friendly, professional and courteous. They were the best."

Costs were clearly explained at that time too. The next day, they called when the electrician was on his way, and then again to notify me when he was caught in a traffic jam due to road construction. "Repair work was needed on a patio installed by another company. Bricks were continually coming loose and parts were collapsing. The patio also needed sealing material after having been power washed. Finally, the flooring in the garage was very cracked and uneven. They broke up the old floor and poured a new one. They worked very hard in very hot temperatures. It was a job well done. "We bought a house in and quot;as isand quot; condition. We knew there were problems and asked a contractor to look the house over for some repairs that we needed. We didn't end up using him but he asked if we would let his electrician take a look. Tony came over and as we failed on the C.O. for electrical warned us that in order for him to certify the house as OK electric wise he would have to fix everything that was not right. He charges 300 dollars for this service which I first thought was a lot of money. He went through the house on that day and checked every single wire, every single socket. He went into crawl spaces, into the back yard, checked the poor old pool electrical stuff that was really messed up. He went into my attic which another guy did for about 30 seconds and never remembered to bring a flashlight to see what he was doing. Previous to this appointment I asked another electrician to come over and he poked around, gave me a price and said it may be more if he finds more stuff wrong. I was shocked how many things were wrong with my house but it was about 50 years old and had been abandoned pretty much for about 5 years. A lot of the fixes done were by owners who apparently didn't know jack about electricity. <br /> I am so happy with the work he did that we will be using him soon for other issues that we didn't address at this time. I referred him to a family member who will also be using him soon. He works with his son and they are both amazing people. I am surprised he isn't on Angie's list yet and promised him I would write a review. <br /> You have to check this guy out. He is so kind and knowledgeable. You don't find contractors like this anywhere else but Angie's List and now Tony of Light Works is here too. <br />"
