"The service went extremely well. We called Wes based on referrals that were originally provided on Angie's List. He was able to come out and estimate the job. His estimate wasn't the lowest that we received, however it was definitely on par with several other estimates that we received. Ultimately, we decided to go with Wes and team due to his professionalism and the high ratings online. We were extremely glad that we went with Straight Edge. We scheduled the crew to come out 2 weeks after acceptance of the job. I was impressed with the amount of time they spent prepping the exterior of our home for painting. They spent roughly 2 days prepping the home, sanding, and replacing wood rot. The final day, they were able to complete the painting. Each day they cleaned up after themselves. Ultimately, the paint job was exactly what I was looking for. I even had a neighbor comment on how good our home looked. I am picky and I couldn't find one thing wrong with the job. I will definitely leverage Wes and team again in the future."

"First let me state that this review is way too late being written and I sincerely apologize for that. Mark headed up this effort and his crew came in, did the job professionally, fast and a good job. I'd recommend Lester's Painting to anyone and would definitely use them again. Mark is just an amazing person to work with and once we finish all of our decorating we intent to invite him over for drinks to see the finished apartment. (Mark, we're getting there, haha!) As I stated in the "what work was done" section this was a complex and very detailed interior paint requirement and the execution here was AMAZING! Metalics, various colors, contrasting ceilings, trims, doors and accents! Work done was at a fair price, impressive results and we are beyond pleased with it all! Family and friends have been blown away by the scheme and while that requires good planning (my amazing wife's tastes!) it needed perfect execution - and Lester's deliver 110%! Great people, great work, fair price - You won't find a better company in our opinion so go ahead and request a quote for your job! -- This ends the review of Lester's Painting -- the following is a side note. The following is NOT a review of Lester's themselves but a lesson to be learned if you read this review. That lesson. Stick with the services Lester's will do and plan jobs outside that scope with another professional... There was only a single issue (OF NO FAULT OF LESTER'S OR MARK HIMSELF) - one of the painters (very talented) who was supposed to come back and do a side project (and at the same time do the final touchup of paint). He worked incredibly hard to complete the task in one evening but was only able to complete about 80% of the wallpaper and never replaced or painted the baseboards he removed as part of the effort. Despite being paid for the entire job with the agreement he'd return attempts to reach him to arrange the completion were ignored and he would not respond. We'll finish this up soon, the paper, replacement of baseboards and painting of those to match. So again, just a lesson to us and maybe someone who thinks about odd jobs that are slightly out of scope --NOT a fault of Lester's painting, though."

"Albert came out and gave me quote, and seemed very courteous, but said I was outside his normal service area of the city of Charlotte. He agreed to do the work in two weeks, and said he would call to confirm. he never called or showed. I called back the following week, and again he scheduled a day to come out. He never called or showed. I had to request refund today because it has been 30 days since I purchased it."

"Covenant Painting did a phenomenal job. Luis and his crew were professional all the way. Easy to work with. Took great care to protect our belongings while they prepped and painted. Covenant did not cut any corners. Communication was solid from start to finish. We are having Covenant come back to take on a few more projects. "Contacted him on Monday and scheduled him to do the work on Thursday when I would be working at home. He arrived on time and quickly did the job. Excellent job on both the house and deck. I have asked for a quote to stain and seal the deck also, and he has said I will get that in a day or two."

"We had received a quote from BNM a year prior and had planned work to start about a month later.  Unfortunately, our life got in the way and the days slipped by until we were back where we started.... getting ready to decorate for the holidays and looking at yucky walls. 
My husband contacted them again on 12/18/12 and requested service as soon as possible.  They worked us in and started two days later, the day before Thanksgiving, and finished the day after Thanksgiving.  They were so flexible and accommodating, they even offered to work part of Thanksgiving Day but we, of course, declined to have them spending their holiday working in our home.  
What can I say about the finished work.... it was fabulous!  They met and then exceeded my expectations.  They kept a neat, clean job site and cleaned up after themselves.  Of course there was a bit of drywall dust but less than I expected and much less than previous people left while performing this type of service.  They even fixed spots on the ceiling where a previous painter did a not-so-terrific job.
In summary, Bryan and Mary are terrific people.  I would love to hire them again -- I'm already thinking of having other rooms painted because it looks so much better.  I would absolutely recommend BNM Painting.
