"I think that their communication was good. The tree removal went well. They minimized damage. They'll be coming back to finish the stump grinding portion of the service. We would probably work with them again."

"I would recommend LA's Quality Tree Service to anyone who wants a professional tree service After the blow of high winds left our yard with one 80 foot tree uprooted and crashing down on two other smaller trees and numerous other tree damage. Luis came out with in an hour after calling his company. Gave a very fair price. The crew came out the next day and started the clean up. They were on time every morning and worked two full days. Cutting down six trees (25' to 80') Lots of downed branches (some 25' long and about 18" thick) and grinded the tree stump. The whole crew was professional, cleaned up every evening. Thankful we found LA's Quality Tree Service."

"Knowledgable, experienced, courteous professionals who do great work. They will provide smart ideas about a project. I had four stumps to grind. TPofA removed the stumps, cleaned the work areas, and disposed the debris. They used soil and small fragments to fill the hole so we did not need top soil to cover the area. I will use them again. Additionally their prices are competitive."

"We had a massive tree we needed removed because the top branches were dying and one of the small ones, 12 feet long, fell off during a storm and hit the house. The tree was a 65-70 foot tall oak. We ended up calling a couple of folks to come out for estimates. Some of the other companies wouldn’t even touch the tree because it was on a steep hill. These guys were very, very reasonable and did fantastic work. The man who climbed the tree is exceptionally skilled. This tree was pretty close to the house and I was worried that one of the large branches would come in contact on the way down. Everything went very smooth between the removal and clean up. I could not be more impressed with a company. I will absolutely be calling them for any additional trees we want removed. They have earned my future business. I will highly recommend them to all our friends, family and neighbors. It would be a mistake not to check these folks out."

"I had three estimates and these guys came in with the best fair price. They cut down a half dead 65 year old oak tree around power lines and my house with precision. The ground crew kept the wood rolling into the shredder until it was cleaned up. In the end they had everything removed even down to the last twig. Racked up and all. Great bunch of guys I would recommend them anytime."

"Responsiveness: After surpassing the ongoing emails and changing of time (from Myriad's end), the individual laborer was professional and knowledgeable in home improvement skills.
The fee was worth it for what (Lloyd) has done in the bathroom, living room, dining room, and landing on 2nd floor.
Lloyd did the following:
Installed plantation shudders for bathrm window
Removed a med cabinet and replace with a drywall and spackled
Placed a new transition for a bedroom door area
Placed a quarter round on 2nd floor landing
Removed window hooks that were challenging for me to remove (five to six of them)
Caulked the already existing crown molding in dining room
Should I use Myriad again, I will surely ask for Lloyd.

FAQs for tree stump removal projects in Chesapeake City, MD

Always transport chainsaws with the engine off and chain brake engaged. Use the protective bar cover provided by the rental company to prevent accidental contact with the cutting chain. Position the chainsaw securely in your vehicle to prevent movement during transit, ideally in a truck bed or trunk rather than the passenger compartment.

For gas models, ensure the fuel cap is tight and position the saw to minimize potential leakage. Keep the chainsaw away from passengers and other items that could be damaged.

Proper safety equipment is essential when operating any chainsaw. At minimum, you should have eye protection (safety glasses or a face shield), hearing protection (earplugs or earmuffs), cut-resistant gloves, chainsaw chaps or pants, and sturdy boots with good traction.

Many rental facilities offer basic safety kits alongside chainsaw rentals. If you'll be using chainsaws regularly, investing in quality personal safety gear is advisable. Never operate a chainsaw without appropriate protective equipment, regardless of the job size.

While rental companies will rent chainsaws to beginners, inexperience significantly increases safety risks. If you've never used a chainsaw before, request a demonstration from the rental staff and thoroughly review the operator's manual before starting. Begin with smaller, more manageable cutting tasks to build comfort with the tool's operation.

For significant cutting jobs, consider either taking a chainsaw safety course first or hiring professionals instead. The learning curve for safe chainsaw operation is steep, and caution is paramount.

If mechanical problems develop during your rental, immediately cease operation and contact the rental company. Most reputable rental businesses will either provide a replacement chainsaw or repair the equipment if the breakdown resulted from normal use rather than misuse. Document the issue with photographs when possible and maintain records of when you reported the problem.

Having your rental agreement readily available when you call will expedite the resolution process. The rental company should adjust your rental period to account for any downtime.
