"Our roof was supposed to last 30 years but, because of hurracanes and all our trees eventually coming down it was damaged and the company we'd used did an inadequate job repairing it. We also got more damage later from more storms and BMF showed up right on time. Isaac and his crew fixed that and after 3 other estimates we decided to replace the whole roof though it was only 20 years old. Again, BMF came to our rescue with a reasonable estimate and shortly thereafter reroofed our house and garage, using new shingles able to withstand high winds, also straightening up a problem with leakage around part of our gutter system that had become apparent in the last few years during heavy downpours. They knocked the job out in two days, cleaned up all the debris and couldn't have been more professional. I believe this time we finally found a contractor who did it right and we won't be fooling around with random leaks or tiles blowing off when the hurracanes, hailstorms or falling branches come again as they surely will. "Got bids from 3 recommended contractors who had all done work for friends. Cisco Contracting assessed the problem well and gave a highly competitive price to replace the full ceiling, but suggested that could probably fix the area of apparent defect even cheaper and faster, Discovered that the 100 year old ceiling was nailed, not screwed, in, the joists were uneven, and the remaining ceiling was poorly secured, gaping several inched towards the center of the room. Previous repairs had added inches of plaster and many, many pounds of weight. Recommended strongly that entire ceiling be removed, and joists shimmed to parallel so that ceiling boards could be securely screwed to the joists. Only took one more (long) day. Final price keep to original quote to do the full ceiling (including shimming the joists), which was less than half of one of the other quotes. Great communication; showed us the problem as soon as discovered. Cleaned up well. We then hired them for several other larger projects."

"I wasn't thrilled with the end result.  I think they laid the asphalt when it was too cool.  Granted my driveway is an unusual shape and more difficult to pave.  Mr. Worden was easy to work with.

June 2014 update:  Bill Worden provided a free seal coating on my driveway to compensate for the lackluster paving job.  The seal coat looks great, and I appreciate it.  Was a nice customer service gesture.  I would do business with them again.  Moral of the story is to lay asphalt during the warmer months, and hopefully they start paving in the morning while the asphalt is still hot.  If you are the second job of the day and they show up in the afternoon the asphalt may be cooler and may not go down as well.  Overall I had a good customer experience."
